Nice job...I started out with that, and then moved on to the bag!

Don't know about your body at all, but I need a little more rest from weights than you're giving yourself. It just functions better.

There are some good Taebo videos on youtube, but you'll have to search for the newer ones as some are old SD and not very good quality. Good luck!

Some of the Taebo work outs use Billy Banks weighted bands which I find uncomfortable to use so I was using the walking hand weights instead. I was hoping for a amped up cardio boost so I could keep it at 30 minutes max

Does the video use light weights? Personally, I don't see a lot of benefit from using weights (even if they are light) for cardio activity, but it does increase your risk of injury. My suggestion is to save the weights just for strength training workouts.

Hope that helps,

Hi I am 59 yo and have been exercising since my 20's. I am going back to taebo to mix things up. I will be doing taebo with hand weights on cardio days. My question is can I weight train Mon-Wens-Fri, and do the weighted taebo on Tues,Thurs, and Sat? That would be 3 days of heavier lifting with 3 days of 1 lb weighted cardio in a row for 6 days aweek. I know you are supposed to lift weights every other day, but seeing the cardio weights are light, is it safe to do this? Thank You
