thank you I believe your correct too. I use to be worn out the first two months then it started getting easier now it doesn't hardly effect me at all.

Thank you for this. I am a teacher’s aide and I do around 8,000 steps a day but no weight loss. Now I understand why.

After about 4-6 weeks of doing the same thing all the time, your body gets used to it. Additional exercise is what will shake things up and help with weight loss.

I would not track your job as exercise, but you should set your activity level in your program setup to reflect it. (So instead of sedentary, pick "lightly active" or "active").

I cleaned 2 or 3 houses a day for years and never counted that towards exercise. It's movement and it figures in to your activity level, but it isn't exercise.

I am a custodian at night in a school. I spend at the minimum an hour vacuuming and 45 minutes to an hour mopping . My friends say I should count that toward my daily exercise time total. I am not sure kind of feels like I would be cheating LOL. What do you think?
