if your bra is forcing your shoulders back will it really help your posture? or is it like a corset, only valuable while you're wearing it but the weakened muscles can't sustain it.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all they ways, acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

For a lady, a proper fitting and design compression sports bra can help. I have found that my best posture is with my custom made, double fabric, nylon/spandex 4 way, compression crop top. The idea sports bra will force your shoulders back and with a crop top will also help keep your spine in alignment. Your upper body alignment has a great impact on the lower back and hips. If you study triathlon women, they generally use compression crop tops that come just below their ribs. Many think that a sports bra is just for boob support. Wrong! It should help keep us in alignment and our posture correct, breast out, shoulders back. Unfortunately most cheap sports bras are only a cover and designed for fashion over function. Try a compression triathlon crop top that at least goes lower than your rib cage, it will help pull you to a correct posture. The article post below is a good one to read, but remember us ladies may have special needs to assist in maintaining a correct posture.

I really don't know what good posture feels/looks like. Are there any tips I struggle most with my hips.
