What is a safe alternative to benching heavy? Will machines work?
Since i dont like talking to people at the gym it seems my back compound movements are the only ones i can do on my own as they dont serve such safety issues. Really sucks. Seems gym is a very social thing and I like lifting alone . :(
You can build muscle using a lower weight, but the idea is to still go to failure. As such, you should have someone there to spot you (for safety). Or perform an alternate exercise you can do safely to failure by yourself.
Healthy choices and actions have positive impacts, even if the scale doesn't move!

"how am i suppose to bench alone? Its quite scary." You don't... it is a safety issue!

Im working out at home today. Doing dumbells. Barbells doing only barbell rows. For bench press am failing at 25 kg dumbells. Thing is i always go to failure, how am i suppose to bench alone? Its quite scary.
Im only doing upperbody as i enjoy it. I will start legs after i see me getting buff successfully. I dont mind chicken legs 4 a while lol. Any tips to bench alone?
