I use more like nine calories per minute, but I'm probably high at this point since I've dropped below 200 pounds. I think I got it from Fatburn and that's for a moderate workout. They say 1300 calories per hour for a vigorous workout. I'm glad this came up because I need to drop mine a little. The downside of losing weight is that you get less to eat and get less burn because of the lighter body weight.

I think the Gazelle is the best buy in equipment today. It's very effective at what it does, lasts forever, can be moved and collapsed, and can be had for under around a hundred bucks. (No, I'm not Tony Little, I just like the product.)

for years I did...but finally had to downsize and let it go.... I rather miss some of the stretching and range of motion movements you could do on it!

If your questions have to do with tracking... I used to track 5 cal/min for my more active workouts.
