Thank you so much Patti! Much appreciated. I do have crutches and I'm in the process of getting a knee walker...because let's face it, I'm a klutz and don't need any injuries on my good foot. I just need to keep moving to keep my sugars low.

Theresa.... don't forget that you will also get some "different" sort of exercise if you are using crutches! In fact, I'd suggest starting now to use them if you can....

When I had foot surgery, I really enjoyed the SPark Seated videos. Just to move felt good!! I did have to modify some moves to avoid moving my foot, but that's do-able. If you can hook up a laptop to a TV that's a big plus for seeing the screen, and still being able to do the moves. I also ended up writing down the upper body / core ones after I learned the positions from the video so I didn't have to fuss with the computer....

All the best on your situation--hope it heals fast and correctly. "Up and Iced" is a good mantra to learn. Take care,
patti

All of the exercises here can be done from a seated position:

I'm about to become non weight bearing on my one foot for about 6 weeks or more. What can I do exercise wise, to still be active?
