I would think your issues have more to do with your diet than specific exercises. Have you increased the amount of fiber in your diet very quickly?

Hello all, so sometime in June I religiously started doing planks and advanced ab exercises every day for about 15mins a day and yes I saw some results, by October I stopped doing the ab exercises because I felt my stretches after my run ( which is when I typically did my ab exercise) had suffered. About a month after in November I had started farting a lot. Smelly farts. I thought this was strange because prior to this time I hardly usually farted except the usual period farts. I then thought long and hard about my changes and only thing I could think about was stopping the ab exercises. Then I would find time to squeeze in the ab exercises and lo and behold the days I do the ab routine I would not fart.
What could the problem be? I'm I doomed to always do this ab routine or else I fart every moment. My dear spark people I need help
