Another option in addition to the great ideas below is to pay for one personal training session and ask the trainer to give you bodyweight exercises you can do at home!

Healthy choices and actions have positive impacts, even if the scale doesn't move!

Go to the playground! I do pushups and tricep dips on the park bench, reverse pull-ups on the low bars, and step ups on the stairs.

I love my resistance bands. There are a lot of good videos on Spark that have different band workouts, so you can mix things up if you want.

Play around with the workout generator (see link below). There are a lot of body weight exercises that you can do, that include planks, lunges, and squats. You can do variations of them as well.

The previous posters have given you some good advice and resources. As far as body parts go, I recommend beginners start with a full body workout, 2-3 times per week. You really don't need to do split routines unless you're an advanced exerciser with specific muscle-building goals.

You can definitely start strength using body weight only. As you progress you could buy a set of hand weights or even use something like milk jugs with water in them, but you should be able to pick up a set of hand weights cheap. I do strength training regularly and I don't go to the gym at all.

I’m starting my weight loss journey, and I’ve been doing cardio but I need help how to do strength training without weights since I don’t have a gym membership and to also figure out days that I need to do which body parts.
