Make sure that your calorie and fitness trackers are accurate. Make adjustments as needed to your nutritional plan and to your exercise routine. I would also recommend making a trip to the doctor's office to check for medical conditions.

If you were maintaining your weight on 1600 calories per day, then added additional activity but didn't change your calories, that's likely why you're losing weight. I'd recommend tracking your activity in your fitness tracker, and then based on your goals, you'll get a calorie range to help you maintain your weight. Let us know if that doesn't help.

Thanks,

Coach Jen

If you were maintaining your weight at your previous activity level and food intake, then added a 40 minute jog (which is what it sort of sounds like from your post? Or was that always part of your routine?)... of course you're going to lose weight! If you want to avoid losing more weight, you'll need to increase your food intake or drop the extra exercise.

I'd suggest you go to a dr and let them figure it out. Last time I lost weight easily and didn't know why it turned out I was diabetic. It's a classic symptom. I'm not saying that's your issue, but it could be many things...no one on this site can diagnose you.

Blessings,
Nancy

You may be miscalculating that....
5.8 mph is not walking speed.

A quick background on me:
I'm 5'3
When I was 17 I weighed 112 lbs and I was already quite slim. Since starting university I started losing weight, even though I've been eating the same amount of calories (1,600). I have become vegan since then and eat cleaner but recently I've been losing weight very fast!

I now weigh 97 lbs! I lose weight easily but don't understand why is it my metabolism? I do the same workout as before however everyday I do a 40 minute walk on the treadmill at 5.8 mph for extra movement.

I don't think that's pushing myself I mean some people run everyday and don't lose weight that fast. Help!
