Like everyone has said you can't spot reduce, there's no way to pick a section of your body and lose fat there. Your body decides where fat can be lost at on it's own! However there are workouts that can TARGET that muscle group to help build up strength in your back! Again this is targeting those muscles to get them to strengthen up which will result in a more "defined" look to your back. To lose fat you need to do cardio so I'd suggest exercises like: running, swimming, tennis (when it's warmer of course if you live where it's -5 right now). Then do strength exercise that again will target those muscle groups to get warmed up in moving. SparkPeople has great resources for arm / back workouts to strengthen those two areas - your arms play a huge role in your general upper body back strength too so don't forget those. www.sparkpeople.com/resource/browse-exerci

I know it's frustrating not being able to spot reduce a certain area, I'd love to point at my stomach and just say "body take care of this fat first" but unfortunately my body likes to get rid of my back fat and thigh fat first - at least it's something though! Just be patient and trust the process, your body is doing what it feels is safest and best for you!!!

Again, you cannot spot reduce fat.

"What exercise can you recommend to eliminate back fat?"
None, as there are no exercises that spot-reduce fat.
Sorry.

Burning fat is an all-body process, and you can't target where you lose weight from. Energy is delivered to the muscles via the bloodstream, NOT from being absorbed from surrounding fat stores. Back exercises may develop the back muscles, but will do absolutely nothing about the overlying fat.

What you can do is to continue to reduce your overall body fat through a combination of cardio, all-body strength training and watching your intake, and sooner or later it will naturally come off the back.

A healthy diet in line with your daily energy needs (for weight maintenance or loss, whichever is your goal) and reducing your overall body fat. There is no "best" exercise to eliminate back fat, belly fat, thigh fat, or any other kind of fat -- you can't control where the weight comes off.

What exercise can you recommend to eliminate back fat? It makes me so uncomfortable when I wear collar shirts. I've been searching for some strategies but nothing seems to be effective for me. Thank you for answering my question! It would be a gratitude if you will help me. Good day!
