i walked 2 miles round trip to the park and played on the playground equipment with my son.

I lost 78 pounds with SparkPeople and I've gained most of it back because I didn't make a PERMANENT lifestyle change; I'm back because I know the support here is an essential component to success. I'm practicing the EAT TO LIVE lifestyle and feeling healthier and happier every single day.

Since today is Christmas my gym is closed. I woke up, walked the puppy then I completed a workout video since we needed to go to church. I really want to go run but I won't have time since we have to leave soon for a giant family dinner. :(

Everyone on here seems to post more than I do and I just cant seem to get the like extra in so that is a goal i will try to add even five or ten min sometime throughout the day. emoticon

NO for Monday...even though it was "intended". The weather outside was "frightful" & family needs filled in the rest of the day (now that kids are all on vacation). Tree just got up today!

Plan for Tues: feed everyone a breakfast casserole, then head to the gym for 2 hours or so, cardio & strength train.

I am new to Sparkpeople and so far I think it is great. I was going to wait until the New Year to start a program, but why wait? I did the Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds 1 mile DVD. I am not exactly active so I think I will strat off slowly and work my way up.
