The number of minutes has at best limited value and relevance unless you are training for an endurance event. Quality is more important than quantity, more is just more better is better. Since nutrition is the key to fat loss exercise is about improving you health and fitness and how long you workout is not determined by that factor. If you need more than thirty minutes to complete your workout you are not working out at a productive intensity. Go hard, go intense and go home and have a life.


It is called WORK-ing out for a reason.

I said getting fit was simple, I did not say it was easy.

Cardio burns calories, strength work burns fat.

Eat well to lose weight, exercise to get fit

You can not build a six pack using twelve packs


Often when we seek a magic bullet for fitness we end up shooting ourselves in the foot.

I did 6 hours of scrubbing a porch and stairs free of mold and 10 yrs of dirt! Only called it one hour of cardio but know it is worth more!!! I can't move tonight. If I can get down the stairs I may get in the hot tub with a glass of wine. The Advil is not making the aches less. Also did some light wts and 10 minutes of my stationary bike this morning.
