Brussel sprouts are definitively a yuk! Sometimes we eat foods that are yukky because we know they are suppose to be good for us. But this particular food well I don't remember my mother forcing on me to eat. The best way to turn a yuk into a yum is to hide it in a meal. We realize that there is some benifical value to brussel sprouts! We keep trying to like them but it almost seems to be useless. Try making a casserole where they are roasted with a topping on it that has cheese and bread crumbs! Or put some sliced almonds in there just don't forget to cover it. Even adding some dried fruit changes the yuk to yum.
