As far as I know I did not dowmload it, so thanks. That's what I needed to know.

Hi Donna,

"Export to file" creates a report file that you then get the option to download to your computer. We do not store it on your SparkPeople account. The file has an extension of .csv and it is a spreadsheet file, like for Excel. As mentioned, the file name starts with your username (DONNA_CPS2). If you cannot find it when searching your computer, is it possible you did not choose to download it when given that option? If you want to see the file, you can always run the report again. If you don't want it, I wouldn't worry about just leaving the file on your computer if you cannot find and delete it. It does not take up much space.

I ate something once and recorded nutritional value. I clicked export to file.

How do I delete it or does it just stay with me forever. What file are they referring to?

Hi Donna,

I apologize that I did not see your last post in this thread until today. I am not sure that I understand your question about "unclick export to file". Exporting your report to file is a one time thing. It will not download a new report/file unless you request another. Does that help?

Again, I am sorry for such a delayed response. I hope all is well with you.

Hi,

In addition to going back to the date you created the note to view it, the note will display at the bottom of the Today's Full Report when you run that.

That is what I thought also. Thanks for the help. What happens to the daily note and how is it retrieved other than going back to the date?

Hi Donna,

When you export a file, it downloads it to your computer. So exactly where it is depends on how you have the download function set up on your computer. The file name will start with your SparkPeople username so you might try searching your computer for a file that starts with "donna_cps2".

You can use the Add Daily Note feature to save a note. A link for that is on your Nutrition Tracker page under the Tools & Settings heading.

I hope this helps!

Yesterday I clicked on export data to file and it saved all my nutrition that day.
I have no idea where it went. Help!
Also how do I save a note which I made for that day?
