Okay. I'll let you know here if there are any further problems.

P.S. Just checked... no I didn't get points... I had 260 points three hours ago, and I still have 260 points... so no, it's not working.

Next P.S... and now it does appear to be working????????

Dr. Jason Fung: "Holy consensus, Batman. With so many 'experts' from Michelle Obama to the USDA to virtually all of the medical professionals (including doctors and dieticians) agreeing that 'Eat Less, Move More' is the way to go, you might think that it is 100% unquestionably true. But here's a queer thought... if we all agree that we know the cure for obesity, and we've spent billions on educations and programs - why are we getting fatter? In other words, why does this 'cure' suck so bad?

We joined that challenge for you today and looks like you got points for it.

That said, the tech team is in the middle of a very large project, so they aren't able to look into specific accounts like this at this time, but I have passed along a note to them to check the challenges when they are able to get to that. I honestly am not sure how soon that could be though.

I don't mean to be difficult... it's just that something in the system clearly isn't working as it should, and I figure SparkPeople would want to know about it and fix it.

I have NEVER seen these notes... and as I said just below:

The challenges do now seem to be MOSTLY working for me, except for

...The 28-Day Smart Snacking Challenge

This one is still not re-setting after 7 months and counting
(still no points being given for tasks completed).

Will anything be done about this?
And what about the notes NOT APPEARING on my challenge page?

It appears below the challenges that you have done already and that enough time has past for you to get points again. It doesn't show on challenges you haven't done yet.

where does a "red note" appear?

I only do 2 challenges at a time, running over the month, but still curious where this is as I don't see it, even on ones I have never done.

I'm not sure why the red notes didn't appear for you, but I just logged into your account, joined the Find 10 Challenge, clicked the button for today's points on that challenge and it is showing in your account. So it should be good to go for you on those.

Please wait at least 30 days and see if the note shows up on any of your challenges. Before clicking for points, let me know if you don't see that note on there after 30 days.

I understand this.

What I'm trying to to tell you is that the Challenges I've listed below never do reset.

There isn't a way to manually reset those...they will reset for you when the system sees that it has been enough time between starting and time to restart for points. I see that you did get 5540 points for calendar challenges yesterday, which is a lot, so if you grab all the points for the challenges in one day, it will not count that until the full month would have been gone through as it is supposed to. At this point, for points, I would say to wait until you see that red notification below those challenges in order to get points again.

That has been the case for most of them, and I just recently completed several before Easter, but there are 7 for which I haven't been able to get points for since before Christmas (I've never done them any closer together than 30 days or more):
... The Find 10 Challenge
... The 30-Day Fit & Fiber-Full Wellness Challenge
... The 28-Day Smart Snacking Challenge
... The 28-Day Home Workout Challenge
... The 21-Day Tame Your Sweet Tooth Challenge
... The 21-Day New Member Challenge
... The 30-Day Workplace Wellness Challenge

...I wanted to do some again coming up (and I'll do them anyway), but if I can get points for them, I'd like to, LOL.

Is there away to reset them?

You are able to repeat them for points, but you have to wait for a certain time after you have completed them (I believe 30 days) so you can get points again. When you are able to get points for them again, you will actually see a little red note below each challenge when you are eligible to join and participate for points again.

I like to repeat challenges... they help me stay focused/motivated, I learn something more every time, and I have a higher degree of integration into my life with each repetition.

However, I've noticed that I don't get points for successive repetitions.

Question: are we not allowed to repeat Spark Calendar Challenges for points? If not, why not?
