As I said earlier I HAVE reauthorized several times, even today. I consider the issue to be done at this point, as Noone can help find a fix. I'll find other resources. Thank you for your efforts.

@KIBBYT4 - My last post was to the other person that posted in this thread. I just checked your account and it is showing that we don't have authorization to access your Fitbit account right now and that you have to reauthorize it.

Thank you, but it still isn't showing on MY app. No steps recorded and no option to request sync. I have again reinstalled the app, ensured the correct accounts, ensured sharing authorizations, etc. My SP dashboard shows 0 steps yesterday as well as the back history since I first reported this and no request sync button. Don't know how or where you are seeing any steps logged.

Unfortunately, there isn't anything more we can do since that is still the data we are receiving from your Fitbit account.

Sorry I don't have a better answer for you, but we can only show/do what data Fitbit sends us and we don't have any control of what they send us.

Your account info from Fitbit still shows what I mentioned yesterday and that it doesn't show any device info at all. I wonder if when you deleted the Fitbit app and reinstalled it if you created or signed into a different Fitbit account than what you connected here. That would make the most sense based on the info we are getting from Fitbit for the account you have connected to us right now.

Thank you for your time and efforts, but it appears we are at an impasse. As I have said, I do have a Fitbit Chatge 2 tracker paired, functional, and reporting data on the fitbit app. That fitbit account says it is authorized to share with SP. I am not using my phone to track steps or anything else except to use the SP and Fitbit apps /dashboards. I've been using the same fitbit Charge 2, same phone, and apps since March without this issue, until a few days ago when it reset my steps in the middle of the day to 0, and then stopped showing any fitbit data. According to my SP account and app, it says it is connected to my Fitbit tracker. So, I don't know what else I can tell you or do differently. I do appreciate your efforts though.

Is it possible you have two Fitbit accounts and attached the wrong one to sparkpeople or your charger 2?

The api calls, that look directly into Fitbit’s system, are returning that you are using mobile track, which means you don't have a device connected and your phone is counting the steps. If you had a charge 2 connected, it would tell us that. Here is the profile connected to the Fitbit for your SparkPeople account: www.fitbit.com/user/4LW24Z. It’s all private, so we can’t see any of what’s in it, but that is the one that is linked to us and giving us the above information. Please double check to see if you have a second Fitbit account and if it is actually connected to the one you have set here. We can only get what Fitbit sends us and at this point, they are telling us that you don't have a device connected to that account.

I have a Charge 2 that has been connected for several months, and according to both apps on my phone this Charge 2 is still shown as being connected. The only change that I made to either account occurred AFTER this problem started and I reinstalled both the SP and Fit Bit apps on my Android phone. At that time I did delete a Fitbit Flex account, but as I said, I've redone all the steps to link my Charge 2. I've gone through all the steps of reinstalling, re-pairing, and reauthorizing data sync.

I checked with the tech team to see if they could see anything more on the back end of things and they have some questions. What Fitbit device are you using? The information we are receiving from Fitbit is that you don't have a Fitbit device at all connected to the Fitbit account that you have connected here. Did you happen to switch from a Fitbit device to a phone or what possible changes did you make when that stopped working for you?

Yes, I am signed into SP as KibbyT4. I don't manually enter much at all in Fitbit. I may have done that once or twice for exercises not in their Library, but I have not entered anything manually for the last 2 days that are in question. My issue is that steps and carlorie burn from steps are not being imported into SP. This happened during the day yesterday. SP captured steps for part of the day, but later the step count and calorie burn disappeared, and just showed 0. Then after that the ability to see any activity logged from Fitbit as well as the request sync button stopped showing up.

Will you please double check that you are signed into our app as KIBBYT4?

As for Fitbit, is Fitbit showing what your device actually tracked for you, not something that you manually entered on Fitbit? We only get info that your device tracked and sent to Fitbit; we don't receive manually entered data from them.

Yes, that's me. I've deleted and down loaded my Spark People app and the fitbit app and reauthorized sync several times. Both apps show a connection to each other, but in the Spark People app where you track exercise, and it used to show the fitbit connection, there's nothing there. It only shows add exercise. It used to show daily activity and the option to sync the fit bit data, but that's not there anymore. I miss it! I relied on that to make sure I wasn't consuming too many calories vs.calories burned

Hi! Yes, everything on my Fitbit app is synced and updated. It's just not being captured in SP for some reason.

Everything looks ok on our end for your account. Have you synced your Fitbit to Fitbit's app? If so, is it showing up there?

My Sparkpeople tracker suddenly stopped syncing with my Fitbit, and previous steps tracked during the day disappeared. Fitbit is tracking appropriately but data not being sent to SP. As suggested by other users, I have turned Bluetooth off and on again, I've unpaired and re-paired the fitbit device, I've uninstalled and reinstalled both apps. I've reauthorized the Fitbit connection in SP, but now my SP log doesn't even show the option to sync with Fitbit. Can anyone offer any other suggestions? Thank you for any help!
