As soon as I reset to a weight-loss goal, the numbers went back to what they had been!
Funny. I just wanted to let you know.
Thank you!

Another spark-buddy suggested that the numbers are higher because of my added weight?

I don't know. I went up to 169 taking care of my DH - it was worth every single pound to keep him home with me an extra 2 years.

Anyway, I just don't remember them every changing, lol, not even when I was supposed to eat more calories - that I can remember, they never adjusted even when I had to eat 2500 calories for all I was burning.

It's ok. Mostly I am curious. I eat what I eat.

Huggers,
linda

No, I understand about the calories emoticon sparking so many years now.

But the Carbs used to be 252 or 262 max
the Fats used to max out at 60
and the Proteins used to max at 130-ish

I've been "sparking" for better than 10 years now, so I knew the numbers pretty well.
It's only this week that I realized they have changed the maximums.
Thank you so much for replying emoticon it means a lot to me.

Hi RAYLINSTEPHENS,

I checked your account and it is set so that your daily fitness is taken into consideration when determining your daily calorie range. That means, the more you workout, the more calories you can eat. Does that explain why your calorie range increased or are you seeing that the base range increased before even adjusting for your fitness? Your base range is re-assessed by our system each time you save your fitness or weight goals; if appropriate, the system will change your recommended nutrition goals at that time.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you still have any questions about this.

I noticed yesterday that the "daily goals" for carbs, fats, proteins have been increased.

I wondered why and when it was done? I have no problem with the new suggested daily goals - just wondering why they have been increased?

Hello,

Our program sets your recommended daily nutrition goals to enable you to lose one to two pounds per week. You might be interested in this article, which provides details behind our calculation:

I hope that helps!

I'm wondering how accurate the daily calorie goal is. I recently had a baby and have an extra 50 pounds to lose, yet when I entered my new weight into SP, my calorie goal has not changed. Shouldn't the daily calorie goal increase some since I would technically have a higher TDEE at a heavier weight?
