Strange it's not duplicating for you- for me, it'll change it when I edit a recipe even when I don't click on that ingredient. If it would be helpful I can try to screenshot next time I notice it.

I just took a look at this and it looks like the amount you entered in the recipe stays the same unless you click on it to edit that particular item and it will then default to the first listed form of measurement, but if you don't click on that item, the amount you entered should remain.

I've noticed an issue that seems to be duplicating itself (over several weeks)- when I go into edit a recipe, almost anything that was tracked in grams seems to default to cups or whole things (eg 125 onions instead of 125 g of onions). I suspect it's defaulting to the first option in the pull-down measurement options for each ingredient. This doesn't happen with items I've manually tracked, rather general items like onions/tomatoes/etc.
