end of year, totally frustrated with my lack of progress losing. iwth the amount o ftime I have been working on weight loss this weight should all be off

well, I went to a neighbor who is a retired dietician and I went to the dietician at my medical clinic and they both gave me those numbers as ranges. Right now I am eating the calories spark people recommended (about 1300 calories a day and 150 carbs per day_ and am staying the same

i need to get my calorie intake down to between 1150 and 1250 calories perday and carbs between 110 and 120 perday

I keep gaining and losing teh same few pounds. and I know why -- I have been eating just about 200 calories more per day a few times a week so taht I am not losing consistently. and I know how how to change that and I will change it

have not done a good job of trying to figure out where I can cut out those extra calories but my gut instinct is giving me ideas. I am going to sit down and do that tonight after work

yes I do track my food and I am able to pin point those extra calories. I can also get more exercise

Hi! I'm glad to see your update. Well done with the exercise.

Can you see where those 100-200 extra calories are, and make any exchanges to bring it down enough to get things moving for you?

I can't be bothered to track calories - do you? If so, you should be able to see clearly where the excess is?

I went swimming today. I want to try Xabeat again. they dance to the lights off and I hate that. any way exercise is one thing I do right. I get 4-6 days of exercise every week. I eat about 100 - 200 calories per day more than I should and that is what is stopping me.

as this is a start of the Jewish new year, it is my intention to lose weight this year. I know I can do it as I have all the tools and have lost weight to date.

:) one thing my co-workers do not know about me is that I always achieve every goal I set for myself. I have overcome a lot of hurdles. If I can quit smoking I can lose weight

Some people say tell them; some say don't tell them!

You've already told them - so, now, prove them wrong! You go and lose those 90lbs - however long it takes - and enjoy your smaller body!

I have been told that it is good to tell people that you want to lose and how much--that is what keeps you on track. However, it may be that you have to talk to people who have the same goal you have -- the gola of losing weight.

I found I did better when I didn't tell anyone!

A few years' ago I had my friend telling me she was worried about me losing so much weight (I lost about 14lbs). I put some of those pounds back on. When I lost them, gradually, over the past two years, she didn't notice!

my tongue looks 100% better. had a good eating day today. I have a goal to lose 90 pounds. my co-workers think that is too much for me to lose. but I know what the scale says.

he really liked the idea and said yes.

after going to synagogue I went to the doctor and have an infection on my tongue and pink eye -- the second time in a month.

this is the year I succeed at losing weight

thanks for the suggestion --- Rosh Hashanna is the Jewish New Year. Mike and Michal are my brother and sister in law -- my husband's brother and his wife. I told my husband after dinner that we should invite them to our house as we were going home

Tonight is Rosh Hasshannah. of course we are going to Mike and Mahals house for dinner. as usual. for the past 15 years we have done this. they have only been to our house a couple of times for dinner. this bothers me--it is as if we are second class citizens or something. I wish they would come to us.

we are being blessed at our synagogue next weekend and I am embarassed. why would I want to be blessed???? at Adath??? they are all rich and snooty and I don't even want to be around them at all.

only exercised 3 days this week -- Monday didn't go to gym Friday got out of work late and had to start early, so only exercised Tuesday Wednesday and Saturday. blah. I want to get back into my routine

today is my "break" from Gym. I use the gym 6 days a week, giving myself Sunday's off. I do go shopping at a mall and walk, and I walk my dog

so today I went to work as usual, worked 9 hours and then went to gym. because I went to gym after work i only did 10 minutes of exercise plus walk dog. If I go to exercise before work I usually do more exercise

I decided that I am going to keep a journal once again under my new name with spark people. Today I weignt ot Weight watchers and am at 212.6. I don't think that is good. I don't know how much I weighed when I first started losing but it had to be at least 250 pounds, and I am 5 foot tall. I probably weighed more. but this weight is going to come off me. so today is my first day of my new me
