Week 10 and final weigh in

I finished strong down 10.2 pounds in 10 weeks total of 6.5 inches gone. 3 inches off of my waist. Lost 2% of body fat. I'm very happy with my performance during the 10 week challenge.

It helped that I was part of an awesome team with the beautiful amethyst butterflies. I will be returning with the team for the summer challenge

Week 8 Fitness 55 CHALLENGE



*Wall Pushups and Step-ups (Time involved: 10 minutes) Do the 55 rep plan one time each day for 3 of 7 days this week.
*Do Wall pushups and Step-ups .
* Begin with 10 Wall Pushups, followed by 1 Step-up - rest - 9 Wall pushups, followed by 2 Step-ups – Rest
* Gradually work your way down to 1 Wall pushup and up to 10 Step-ups..
*.Rest 30 seconds between each set.
* Feel free to modify or change the 2 exercises as needed but keep the same pattern. You will have completed 55 repetitions of each exercise.

FITNESS CHALLENGE - Week 7

*Move the number of squares shown on the die.

Week 6 results

Down 2.2 pounds so I lost what I gained last week plus a little extra great

Though I only had 60 cardio minutes and 120 strentgh minutes I did surprise myself in a good way with the loss. This weekend no binge eating.

WEEK 6 - COLOR (Fitness)

RED -- Spit fire like a Dragon and fire up your muscles before any 10+ min. exercise session. emoticon

AMETHYST--Float like a butterfly flapping your arms. Then do arm circles. Hold arms out straight at shoulder level. Circle forward 10 times. Reverse and circle 10 times. emoticon

Last week ITC was a BINGO I never do well on them to confusing for me as I can't print them to see what I am doing

Weigh in was horrible up 1.8 pounds weeks 3 and 4 I did awesome and lost weight had cardio and strength training minutes were very good put me in the top 4 positions.

NO one to blame but myself I didn't have to buy those BOGO of Gelato and eat the 2 pints in 2 days.

Week 4 ITC



WEEK 4 - FITNESS - GARDENING TIME

CHALLENGE
*Time to plant the garden, so let’s gather everything that is needed.
*Complete the following tasks to plant your garden.
*Each task can be modified to meet your level/ skill as needed.

#1- A Shovel – it is needed for digging, lifting, and moving material –To get your shovel, Do 30 high knees- this can be done throughout the day

#2- A fence - Protect your garden, gotta keep those critters out -- To get your fence- Do 15 wall pushups

#3- Garden gloves -You will need to Walk 1000 steps (does not have to be all at once)

#4- A wagon is a must --- Do 10 minutes of any cardio exercise

#5- Fertilizer, - Fertilizer does no good in a heap, but a little spread around works miracles all over. Track all exercises for 5 days (Track any way you select.)

#6 – Tomato Cages -- must keep plants up.-- Do 10 minutes of any Strength exercise

#7- Plants need to be watered so your final item is a garden hose.-Dance to your favorite song (might want to make it a rain dance)

POINTS
Each task completed is 1 point (Max = 7pts)
Bonus: 10 pts., if you gathered everything to get your garden ready. (Max 10 pts.)

WEEK 4 - NUTRITION - PLANTING YOUR GARDEN

CHALLENGE

*Your tools are gathered.
*Complete the following tasks so you can plant your garden
*Each task can be modified to meet your dietary need

1. To place everything in the wagon so you can move all the items easily- Track you meals for the day. Make sure to include the 5 main food groups as allowed by your diet.
(Fruits, Vegetables, Grains, Protein Foods and Dairy)

2. To gloves on to protect your hands- Try a healthy way of cooking.
(try grilling, or roasting, boiling or steaming)

3. . To spread that fertilizer- Add some color to your diet - Include 3 new fruits or vegetables today

4. To get that fence up to protect your garden, rabbits might be cute and fluffy, but they are not garden friendly- Track your mood before and after eating 3x this week.

(The healthier the food you eat, the better you’ll feel after a meal. The more junk food you eat, the more likely you are to feel uncomfortable, nauseous, or drained of energy)

5. To take that shovel and start digging your holes to plant your seeds - Get a good night's sleep.

(Getting sleep may make you feel rested and full and keep you from doing unnecessary snacking.)

6. Now that your seeds planted are planted, it’s time to water- Drink a min of 32 oz. of water today. (Water helps flush our systems of waste products and toxins)

7. You remembered those tomato cages - Take some me time and relax.

Each task completed is EARNS 1 point (Max = 7 pts)
Bonus: 10 pts., if you planted your garden (Max = 10 pts..)

Since last night I've had the munchies bad I have the rest of today and 2 days to do better with my meals. emoticon

No workout yesterday or today. Thankfully tomorrow is Monday and I will make it to the gym.

So today my goal on the treadmill was for distance 3.1 miles with average incline of4% . I accomplished goal 65 minutes for 3.14 miles 20.43 mile. Incline of6% to 7% were killers fastest speed today was 3.2.

From now on I will be be working on distance.

oops I forgot to up date ITC week 1

Weigh was today down to 177 that is a - 3.8 loss I realize its mostly water weight

1. 30 second wall plank/ 30 second plank
2. 1 minute marching in place/1 minute step ups
3. 15 modified jumping jacks/15 jumping jacks
4. 20 arm circles both directions/ 20 arm circles in each direction with weights
5. Take a 1 minute break/ take a 30 second break.
6. 10 wall pushups/10 floor pushups

I started the Biggest Loser Spring Challenge on March 7th. This is the first time in years that I have taken part in a Biggest Loser Challenge.

Naturally we made some goals for the 10 weeks and we do ITC (Inter Team Challenges). Part of my accountability will be to journal progress here during the 10 weeks.

Beginning weight 180.8 pounds

My goals:

My Nutrition Plan:

1. Weekly meal planning for Breakfast and Dinner (I never know if I will be able have lunch at home or not due to appointments)

2. Track my meals here on Spark People Nutrition tracker minimum of 5 days a week . I'm bad with this so I'm not going for 7 days.

3. Drink at least 6 8 ounces of water daily.

My Fitness Plan

1. Cardio 3 times a week at Recreational Center.
A begin with 35 minutes
B By week 5 with 50 minutes
C Week 10 walk 5K in 45 minutes

2. Strength Training 2 times a week using the body gym workout DVD
A Begin with level 1 workout
B By week 8 start level 2 workout

Week 1 ITC Fitness - Roll the Dice
