Yes, I've found that tracking makes all the difference. I just can't estimate it in my head. I need to see the figures in black and white.

Keep up the good work...we'll get there.

I agree. I have to track my food just to help me keep on track.

For the first time in awhile I tracked my meals. Now I understand why I've been basically in the same spot on the scale. In my mind I was eating well. It wasn't until I looked at the amount of calories that I was consuming that I understood I need to make a change in that area. I've made changes in other areas like my activity level. I was coming in under 5000 steps per day for the longest. So my first goal was to get 5000 steps. Now my goal is 8000 per day and eventually I will end up at 10000. emoticon I just now recognize how important that I work tracking my food as well. I understand that this is all common sense, but I really didn't want to do it. Because once I start doing this I'm going to have to be way more responsible about what I put in my mouth.
