I'm kind of in the same boat in that I have a lot of food restrictions to control a disease.

Doesn't allow for many food options at the fast food places, so it means a lot of time commitment to prepping our own food.

Like you my doc didn't think weight loss was a priority even though I'm 20 pounds over a decent weight.

There is no such thing as the final success in life. What is really meaningful is the courage to face the next minute, the next hour, the next day.

I'm one week into new way of living. Lost 4 pounds in first week, which I'm not completely wowed by, as my weight fluctuates in this range all the time. It's getting into the 160 range that my body hasn't done for years and years. Over 50, and I have a belly and back fat that seems permanently attached. I asked my doctor at my physical what my idea weight should be...she calculated BMI and said, you are within normal, this isn't a priority for me. Well, fine, I'm going to go with pre babies weight as the goal.

I was given the referral to the plan Gut Balancing Revolution after trying FODMAP diet on own unsuccessfully by my chiropractor. Both doctors understand I suffer from weekly bloating and adominal pain. I can look pregnant super fast after a bad reaction to a meal... it's terrible.

So I made the recipes, followed the plan and had a calm tummy all week. My typically pained hands and feet feel better. Excited to get to next phase when you add the good bugs fermented foods and such. Goal is to be able to eat onions again. Went to Chipotles this week...did you know that I could have three items from their choices. Got a discount. Boring salad. Would love to hear from others on this plan, share recipes. My inflammation is already down, and I feel better. Not having sugar cravings. I've never been this solid behind an idea. Don't want to live in pain anymore.

I have a plan.
