Sorry about your fall, I hope it heals soon. Yeah ever doctor I have went to has told me that my thyroid was fine and I was good on my sugar. It runs 100 or lower at times. I'm going to keep on trying. I can do this I have once before. Thank you for your reply. All I take is Zoloft for depression. I will find something that will work for me.

Don't quit.
I've been a Sparker nearly 10 yrs. and I finally found a doctor (endocrinologist) who put me on Metformin, Bydureon (a weekly shot), and Armour Thyroid (I take at bedtime) and I'm down nearly 40#. The last doctor I saw told me "Your blood sugar is 115 and diabetes doesn't start until 126 so you don't need Metformin and at YOUR AGE you can't expect to lose weight since you have Metabolic Syndrome." Well, the new doctor had me read the insert in the Metformin and it said "If you could become a Type 2 diabetic you can start this now." He said "You are close enough." And since I have had no hunger or night time eating, so the weight has come off. I'll be 68 next month and I'm thrilled. Do find a doctor who will work with you on your goals. (I plan to still lose another 20#, but I fell and broke my femur in June so I'm recovering from that.)

A new thing I'm trying. Started today. What is Sherry's SPEED it's the main things I'm doing to lose weight. Trying to keep it simply. Not jumping in head firat in the deep in but start off slow. This is what it stands for.
S= Sleep try to get 7-8 hours.
P= Pray, can't do this without God.
E= Eat healthier, make healthier food choices, Portion control.
E= Exercise, No less than 30 minutes 4+ days a week.
D= Drink water. 64-128 ozs.
Than about sums it up.
I'm hoping this works. I have my Why I want to loss weight.

1. A promise I made my momma a few years ago that if she quits smoking then I would lose this weight, well she quit smoking and I got bigger so I want to make good on that promise.
2. For my daughter.
3. I need new clothes
4. To feel better more energy.
5. For me. To say I did it. The hard work is worth it.
My AHA momment well there are a few but the most one is...
1. paying $3.00 more for plus size t-shirts.
2. went to a amuzemet/waterpark and could'nt enjoy myself cause I was worry if I would fit in the seats.
