Way to go on the 40 lbs loss. I had one doctor said they could put me on Metformin to lose weight, but my sugar runs under 120, and sometimes it drops, I've will have my sugar run anywhere to 100 to 80, when it drops I have had it go down to 68 before this is after eating all day .My momma is on that, she's a diabetic. I'm hoping to stay in the right mind set and loss the weight without anything like pills or shots. I wish you good luck on getting healthy.

I hope you found a good doctor who understands obesity and permanent weight loss. I went to Ward Dean M.D. in April, as he is an endocrinologist and he understands what it takes. He put me on Metformin, but my blood sugar is 115 and diabetes starts at 126 (he says I'm close enough). I also take Armour Thyroid at bedtime, and a weekly shot of Bydureon. I've had no hunger since being on the Metformin, so I've lost 40# since April.

Don't know if I will get to exercise but I'm cleaning house so I'm up doing something, counting it yep works for me.

08/08/17 (Tue) Treadmill 46:56 minutes 2.00 miles 2.5 % incline 2.5-3.0 speed, since last night was my first day of getting back to walking.

Wen it comes to weight loss, there's no magic pill, no fairy Godmother that going to wave their wand over you and boom you are skinny or may say at least your goal weight. No fad diets or diet pill, wraps or what else that is out there trying to take your money and it turns out it didn't work or if it did it was only short term and the weight creeps back. The only way to lose weight and keep it off is simple...
1 exercise start out slow and work up to more and longer.

2 make smarter choices when it comes to eating. Don't say something is off limits cause more likely if you do you will start carving it and when you do eat it you will go hog wild and eat it all. Try PORTION CONTROL!!!

3 drink your water.

4. if you fail one day or one time don't stress over it, just start again from that point or the next day. Only look at the past to see how far you have came.

5 Sleep get 7-8 hours a night or day depends on what shift you work. Very important to get your sleep.

6 Pray.
That's about all I can think of right now. If I think of other things I will post. If you can think of anything of anything feel free to add what you think is important to weight loss.

I'm going to try to journal each day if I can. My thoughts, exercise and whatever else I feel like. Feel free to post whatever you feel.

I want to use this as simple, laid back, no judging each other, share what works and what don't.
