That's wonderful! I'm 3/5 of the way to my goal, with 18 lbs to go.

That is awesome! And motivating to hear! Good for you.

Good for you! You've stuck to your plan and made great progress.

I've been at this since March 9th. My goal was to lose 60 pounds, and I've lost 30 so far. So I'm halfway there and pretty jazzed about it!

As you hold on... as long as you do what's in your heart... I believe you can do the right thing.

I have been a SparkPeople user for years. On again, off again since 2003! I have had both victories and failures along the way. I have turned my back on the basics of tracking my food and exercise many, many times. Always gaining back what ever weight was lost and mental stability was found the minute I stopped the program. I am almost 50 now and the mantra of "when I lose this weight I will..." has finally lost its luster. I want to live my life now! I think the tipping point was a combination of the forced isolation and the knowledge that being stuck at home was showing on my hips and face. I took a stand on May 7th that my time has come and convinced myself that I really wanted to do this. To be at a healthy weight for my size I needed to lose 40 pounds. As of today I am down 13 and feel great!

How long has your journey been? And how far have you moved towards your ultimate goal?

Look forward to who you are going to be, not back at who you've been.

The only workout you regret is the one you skip.
