Congratulations!! Some people say calories in - calories out, is the tool for weight control, but when one sees all the "ingredients" that make up the variety of foods we consume, I realize that makes a difference as to how the calories are used. A 2500 calorie consumption of donuts versus 2500 calories of fruit, meat, vegetables and grains is going to get different results. I had to keep relearning this everytime I tried a new particular food focused diet. I am back to eating everything, grains, protein, fruit and vegetables but leaving out the simple carbs. I had to learn again how to buy food, because I had stopped buying bread. Now I can eat sandwiches again. Yay! A good tuna sandwich fills me up well.
