My major source of exercise is walking. Sometimes, if the weather is bad, or if the hour is too late, all I can manage is 10 minutes pacing up and down my upstairs hall, And sometimes that has to be good enough for that day. But today I had a better plan: I had an appointment about a half mile away from my house. Instead of hassling with driving the car and finding parking. I made a plan last night to walk to and from the appointment. Now, it's easy for me to find an excuse not to exercise, and I was running a bit late, and it was raining! I hurried through what I needed to do before leaving, kept a bit brisker pace on my way there, and even got to use my beautiful Monet-print umbrella. And "tricked" myself into getting a full 30 minutes of exercise. Win!
