I'm 5' 7" and weigh 176.5 -- I can ALMOST fit back into my size 12-tall pants!
At my highest weight ever I was 198 and had to buy bigger pants for work. I bought 2 pair of size 14 pants -- but I REFUSED to buy any more so I've been wearing those (and doing laundry every other night) for 2 years. Needless to say, these pants are wearing out! I think I would have been a size 16 or 18 if I did go out to buy pants and was close to having to wear plus sizes.
I'm down 21.5 pounds and still have a ways to go, but that's progress!

5'8" gone from 176 to 164, size 12 but getting mighty loose!!! Hoping to get back into comfortably wearing a size 8 in jeans and a particular size 4 dress (my legs have always been bigger, hence the size discrepancy)
This is the most inspiring message board I've come across yet. It is amazing to see the differences in everyone's goals and the differences in body types.
I am 5'3" and 196lbs down from 210 my all time high, I am a size 16 pants and xlg top, my bra size is 36/EE. I have been to, how do you say it, scared, to do my measurements yet. I am thinking I might do it soon. I know that it is a good indicator of real change.
My goal is 120, and at that size I am a size 5. I am losing weight following 3 consecutive pregnancies. At 5'3", my BMI puts me at 34.7. I am working on being a normal weigh instead of obese and a bra size of 32/D. My skin has always recovered well after my weight losses following pregnancy, but I am older now and looking to feel good and be strong and in control of my food habits.

I am 5'5" and weight 179. Currently I am in a size 14 and sometimes a size 12 depending on what it is. My hips and thighs have always been on the larger size so I tend to have to up the size to get the fit I want. My goal is to get down to 155 and wear a size 10 and even a 12 if its necessary. My biggest joy recently was that I needed a belt!

I'm 5'4" and I now weigh 168.6. I've been on weightwatchers for a while, I started at 197. When I started I wore about a 16 and now I wear a 10. It always surprises me when I hear people say that they weigh even 10 or more pounds less than me, but are the same size (my pants are not tight, a lot of the 12s that I still wear sometimes are very loose). My current weight goal is 165, I am very close. I think that I need to try and maintain that weight before I lose much more.
As I read threw these replies to weight and size I am so surprised how different we are at the same height and weight. 5'3" and weigh 196 lbs. and wear xlarge top and 16 jeans. 2 yrs. ago I was 165 lbs and wore a size 12 I guess i have a weird shape. who am I kidding I have big thighs no matter what!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I saw the quote from Miley Cyrus and had to chime in: 1. I'm 143 lbs and wear a size four jeans (down from an 18 I think) 2. I ALWAYS listen to "the Climb" before I start a 5 mile run and almost every time I do planks.
Just wanted to let you know you're not the only one inspired by that Hannah Montana (I bet you listen to'Stronger' and 'Part of Me' as well?!)!
I started at 5'3" and 236 (but I'm over 40 with 2 kids).... doesn't being a small rock??!!! Keep up the amazing work!

I'm 5'4, 149 pounds, and usually wear a size 10 pants and a medium top. At my heaviest, I was 195 and barely fit into a size 18. Very pear shaped which makes it hard to find pants that fit appropriately.

So reading this made me go dig for a pair of pants that are...drumroll please...from 25 years ago. They are from the woman's dept. and I wore them as a teacher when I thought I was "fat." I now weigh about the same as I did then and was pleasantly surprised that the fit was perfect (if not a little looser in the thigh and butt). My weight 134, 5'7" and a pair of current 4's were bigger than these on me. The size from 25 years ago - size 12. And I wore 12 and 14 in almost everything back then - hence I always saw myself as a large girl. After gaining (once again) about 23 lbs, and seeing a picture of myself in these pants, I decided once I lost the weight, I would look in the mirror and tell myself the truth - "You look good, girl." And that is what I did today!

5'8" Highest weight 301 Current weight 233 Goal weight 150 Well, I HAD 151 pounds to lose...half my size! Now, I've lost 68 pounds and only have 83 more pounds to lose! I am going to have a SERIOUS party (perhaps a day at the spa) when I hit my half-way point! Which, I may add, is only 8 more pounds away!

5'6" Highest weight: 260 after I had my now 5 month old size 22/24 bottoms, size 2x/3x Now: 236 size 18 bottoms and XXL tops. My shoulders never were really wide enough for the 2x to ever really look like they fit right Lowest weight: 165 size 13/14 bottoms and XL tops
I am down 8 more pounds this month, after weigh in at by weight Dr yesterday. Which makes it a total of 24 pounds in the 3 months that I have been going! I still have quite a bit to go, don't think I will ever be smaller than a size 12, but I guess we will see!

Wow... I must have an incredibly odd body. I am 5'2 weigh 247 and wear a size 24-26 bottom and 2x top. Even when I was 160lbs I was wearing a size 18 bottom. The only way I could wear a 2-4 is if I was about 95 lbs.

I am down 18 pounds, still in a 3x, but tried on a 2x last friday and it fit! I am 5 ft and now weight 232. I am getting there. I hate to say that the 3X's were getting too tight and i refused to go up a size. The only way for me to go is down. i want to get into regular size clothes, I am so tired of wearing Tents.

I feel great at a size 14 (195-200) if my memory serves me :) Last time I was at this weight was at age 35, and now I'm 43, so who knows. I don't like tight fitting clothes (more so when I'm heavier), so I am pretty consistently wearing a 16 comfortably right now (clothing brands and styles vary greatly). I'm well-proportioned, though have put on more weight on in my midsection the past few years. Only interested in being comfortable with myself and being healthier!
Hi everybody! I'm going to get really detailed in this because it really shows how many different shapes and sizes there are. It's just so interesting! I am 163 pounds, 5'3, a size 10, pear shape and my measurements are 37-30-43.5. Hopefully, will soon get down to 115-120!
