I'd suggest you look at the Seated videos here on SPark...and then ask your PT if you can modify the moves to help you out. There is a core one that was nice... and I was able to do some of the other ones following foot surgery---WITH modifications. All the best as you recover...just take your time to heal good the first time rather than fight lingering injuries down the road...!! patti

You have a positive attitude which will help aid your recovery from the accident.
Keep doing your PT. but don't beat yourself up if you do miss a workout now and then.
When it comes to gaining or losing weight, what matters most is what we eat. Good nutrition is what takes the weight off and keeps it off. Exercise is what keeps our bodies fit. If you are mindful of what you eat, you will not gain weight because you can't exercise as vigorously as you'd like.
Best of luck in your recovery. I want to ask if you are cleared to exercise? It sounds like you had quite the injuries. If your doctor was unclear or if you forgot to ask, I encourage you to call ASAP. Doing exercise too soon may cause further harm.
I will still be exercising but it will be hard. Most yoga is out of the question, no walking long distances, and no upper body work out. I will sit on a recumbent and do knee strengthening exercise. I will not sit still!!!!!
