Hi, Mara !

I'm not sure of your current height, but what's your BMI ? If you're in a normal range for your height, losing those last 7 pounds wont be easy. The closer a person is to a healthy weight for their height, the harder it is to lose any perceived excess.

I went from 135 in March last year to 127 in December. It took me close to 10 months to lose those pounds and I had to watch every single morsel to do it.

Being on anti-depressants could stall weight loss. Some medications can cause people to gain weight. You have to weigh the pros with the cons. Which is more important ? losing weight or having to deal with depression ? if the medication is helping you, that takes priority.

I could make an argument that instead of losing, you consider adding some lean muscle. What do you do for strength training ? If you're not doing any ST, I would encourage you to start. A good strength training program could help you shed 1-2 clothing sizes without having to lose any weight.

Isn't that why most women want to lose ? They want to fit into smaller sizes ? Okay, add lean muscle and you can lose inches without losing scale weight. That's where I am now. I've stopped losing weight and I'm working on adding muscle.

After looking at your weight ticker, and your photos, I wonder if you might be better off getting your body fat tested to see if you actually do need to lose weight. A lot of people it isn't weight loss that is needed, but muscles toned, which can make a person appear to have lost weight, even if they haven't. They can also drop clothing size be doing so, too.

Your body fat is best checked using the skin-fold caliper tests which a lot of gyms do. Just ensure that whoever does it is properly qualified to do so so that the results are accurate.

Yes - I am currently on it. I have lost a lot of weight, in fact all of the weight I have lost is since I have been on it. That's 27kg (about 60lb)

My secret to success was weighing all of my food for increased accuracy and entering it all into the Nutrition Tracker. That way I was able to tweak my diet to ensure balance, and that I stayed at the calorie level my Registered Dietitian wanted me on. I have been maintaining now for a few years. I STILL weigh all of my food and enter everything into the Nutrition Tracker to ensure that I stay there.

Just make sure that the food that you consume is healthy and balanced in that you meet all of the nutritional goals re (healthy) fats, good carbs and lean protein. and don't cut out any food groups.
