I started therapy last year and had to stop to have back surgery. Although my time with the therapist was short, She helped me with a major insight into my binge eating. I have just restarted therapy with a different therapist this time. I'm excited to work with her.
In conjunction with my private lesson in DeCoix Mime we applied positive reinforcement therapy. It is a process of stopping one's story and dealing with it in positive way.
After especially tramatic events I sought council and my Mime teacher was the one who offered to help. We did the positive reinforcement therapy and my despair was turned to such a dynamic new perspective that I was happy to move forward with my life. I believe mind, body and spirit being healthy are all necessary for our total wellness. The tools of therapy are building foundations for all applications including weight loss.
