This morning I'm grateful for:

-GBoomer's Google knowledge and the laugh I got (I recognized Jagger right off, and Ron Wood, but not the second person in the first picture)
-My routines; breaking them every now and then is also a good thing for variety
-My sweet kitties who were upset thinking I was leaving again, but I used normal verbiage ("Have a good kitty day, see you tonight") & they calmed down
-Work not being out of control when I missed two days (a month ago, that would not have been the case)!
-Want to confirm by weighing again tomorrow a.m., but looks like I left a few pounds in Palo Duro Canyon! Ha! emoticon
-A 3-day work week this week, followed by a 4-day work week next week; time off well-earned after a hard first quarter with little time off

-The official end of my busiest time at work, now the pace will be reasonable for a bit

This morning I am grateful for:

-My sister, who pays attention to my anniversary dates like they're her own (I do the same for her)
-Those sweet kitties I live with
-For a very sunny, spring-like morning with nice temps
-Driving to work with the sunroof open
-Being gifted with a tea sachet that caused me to order a 50-sachet bag from Harney & Sons - (Paris)-black tea, oolong tea, vanilla, black currant, bergamot oil and caramel ... lovely to enjoy while focusing on gratitude too
-The little things in life, such as a cup of tea, petting the soft fur of a kitty

Kiowa's cute bottom
getting factory recall done on car's airbag
trying a new Italian restaurant with L yesterday
walking a new neighborhood
Desi catching a small squirrel while on his leash (It happened too fast for me to do anything except set the squirrel free after Desi had it in his mouth. It looked like the poor squirrel was physically fine, just a little in shock.) Funny, at the same time I'm proud of my little hunter's skills and I'm concerned for the squirrel's wellbeing.

Kiowa's behind is every bit as cute as her front!! emoticon

This morning, the first day of April, I'm grateful for:

-Indeed, Rebecca and GBoomer, everything you both said and so much more about this thread, our practice and special connections because of it
-My 18th anniversary; an odd one, for sure, but still my anniversary
-Dear friends, because only dear friends would remember dates like today
-Sunshine and warmer temps
-Another dear friend calling yesterday with perfect timing and we met for spur-of-the-moment ice cream; I call that a double treat!
-Cleansing tears
-New beginnings, like the new month of April, and I'm not kidding

I am grateful to Rebecca for keeping these threads running with panache, art, spirit and love. I love the "I Hate Crowds" picture and the quote about a single breath.

I am grateful to Stephanie for our feline fellowship and other sharings in common (Survivor!) not to mention several years of gratitude sharing history

I am grateful to everyone's postings for the inspiration and reminder they give me about my own life, many things of which I might not notice otherwise

Also, today I am grateful for:
• Desi getting in my lap during tv time yesterday
• my teaching skills, honed through a lifetime of training, experience and effort
• doing walking sprints on nearby hill yesterday
• first drive through tolls with an EZ Pass in the car, so convenient!
• celebrating my parent's 59th wedding anniversary last week

The road to happiness starts with a deep breath and an awareness of the many blessings tied to that single breath.” – Richelle E. Goodrich
