Great job. Keep up the great work. How are you liking the challenge so far? Remember to keep track of your miles all month long. I am currently working on our September challenge. Please share your thoughts on what you would like to focus on for the September challenge. Also please share this challenge group with all that need more motivation to get up and move.

Hello everyone,

Welcome to the Step it up challenge. This is a fun motivational challenge group. This is a walking only challenge group. All ways and forms of walking count for this challenge. The main thing about this challenge is to not only to see how many miles we can walk in one year. But to see how healthy we can get in one year. I will provide you with monthly workout plans and monthly challenge information guides each month. All are welcome to join the challenge at anytime. The person who walks the most miles in a year will win the title of the ultimate stepper. There are no worries with the step it up challenge.

Remember don't quit. You can get in shape. It takes time to see the results you want to see. You have to put in the work. Please let me know if you have any questions at anytime. Lets make this month a happy and healthy month. Many blessings to all. Keep pushing play.

Welcome to the August Step it up challenge. This month challenge is called Back To School challenge. With school starting back in a few weeks its time to go back to fit school for us adults. The holiday season will also be here before we know it so its time to get our health and bodies ready now before the holidays come. We will focus on 3 major things. 1. Eating right, Working out, Water intake. These are the 3 main things we will be focusing on this month. Here is all of the information that you need to know for this months challenge. Please let me know if you have any questions at anytime. All are welcome to join the Step it up challenge.

ABOUT THE STEP IT UP CHALLENGE:

This is a walking challenge. We will be keeping track of our miles all month long. The person who walks the most miles by the end of the year will win the title of the ultimate stepper. All ways and forms of walking count for this challenge. I will provide you with monthly challenge information guides talking about each months challenge. You must keep track of your miles. Doing so will help you stay accountable to keep pushing play so you can stay healthy and fit. All are welcome to join at anytime during the year. TOOLS YOU WILL NEED FOR THIS MONTHS CHALLENGE: (No worries if you don't have any of these tools listed. Anyway you want to do this challenge is fine. There are no worries with the Step it up challenge)

(1) 1-3 pound hand weights.

(2) Fitbit or pedometer.

(3) Water bottle

(4) DVD player or computer.

ABOUT THIS MONTH CHALLENGE:

Here is the plan for this months challenge. We will be using Leslie Sansone's workout program Walk it off in 30 days DVD. If you don't have this DVD no worries. I will provide you with a miles only workout plan you can follow. I will also provide you with a workout plan using the DVD talked about in this months challenge. Choose either one of the plans you want to follow. Remember that all ways and forms of walking count for this months challenge.

PLAN ONE: (WALK IT OFF IN 30 DAYS PLAN)-WEEK ONE THROUGH WEEK FOUR)

MONDAY: BURN 30

TUESDAY: FIRM 30

WEDNESDAY: BURN 30

THURSDAY: FIRM 30

FRIDAY: BURN 30

SATURDAY: FIRM 30

SUNDAY: REST DAY

PLAN TWO: ( MILES ONLY PLAN)-WEEK ONE THROUGH FOUR)- IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO WALK MORE MILES YOU ARE WELCOME TO. THE MORE MILES YOU WALK THE BEST CHANCE YOU HAVE OF WINING THE TITLE OF ULTIMATE STEPPER.

MONDAY: 2 MILES + 30 MIN YOGA.

TUESDAY: 2 MILES

WEDNESDAY: 2 MILES + 30 MIN YOGA

THURSDAY: 2 MILES

FRIDAY: 2 MILES + 30 MIN YOGA

SATURDAY: REST DAY

SUNDAY: REST DAY

NOTE: Please take at least one day off as a rest day. Try to do strength training no more then 3 times a week. Make sure to eat healthy meals everyday. You are welcome to make one day a cheat day. Your total miles for each month are due at the end of the month. Keep track of how much water you drink. I suggest keeping a food and water log to help you keep track of your progress.
