This morning, indeed, the last one for April, I am ever so grateful for:

-An amazing and much-needed spring weekend, full of sunshine and nature
-My co-worker who named my morning concoction "breakfast lasagna" - sliced banana, cinnamon sprinkled, add blueberries, more cinnamon sprinkled, add raw almonds, more cinnamon ... stir ...
-Being able to support co-workers struggling with mothers; one just passed, another with Alzheimers after a bad weekend
-Spending Sunday in my own backyard, cleaning up the deck, more leaf clearing, skimming the water gardens, all to the sights and sounds of birds, squirrels, frogs, chipmunks and waterfalls, with the kitty girls watching/talking at the windows
-Kitty manis/pedis all done; they get theirs before I get my own! Ha!
-Three loads of laundry done

On this last day of April, with Full Moon energy, my appreciations include:
-This tradition continually moving my perspective to positives
-Being wowed by Full Moon this morning glowing bright orange then returning to my bedroom to see the window filled with sky full of crimson and gold sunrise & white apple blossoms framing it all
-Finding ways to move without pain while my back heals from weird sprain
-Exhilarating drive after breakfast where we shared 17 hawk, 3 pelican and 2 bald eagle sightings as we savored the landscape growing in Spring bounty
-New to us Mexican breakfast place checking all the ‘yes’ boxes for us both to return
-GBoomer cats and Stephanies Frogs

I will be back later today to post MAY 2018 thread and look forward to continuing on with the exceptional company in this tradition tomorrow

Stephanie, yes, that is a real mouse. I woke up to find them "playing" with the poor thing two nights ago. Woke up a few hours later and it was still going on. I think that eventually it got away because I have not found a corpse.

I am grateful this morning for:
- not being a mouse. 😅
- making mixed beans successfully in my new Instant Pot, the first thing I've cooked in it.
- a date to see granddaughters this afternoon.
- providing transport for 4 cute kittens from the shelter yesterday evening
- fun pickleball practice yesterday

no more mouse photos after this one...

-A clean house
-Dinner plans tonight with my supper club friends at a new-to-me restaurant
-Progress on a yard project
-Work being back to a reasonable pace

On this 1st day of April, I'm grateful for:

-Always, Rebecca and her tireless devotion to this thread and practice
-Quiet Sunday mornings, except for Rosie howling that she's retrieved her ball and is ready for me to throw it down the stairs for her again
-A double-wicked candle, burning now in honor of what would be my 17th anniversary
-Everything being posted timely on our company website this morning in my QC check, meaning I don't have to contact our website people on a holiday Sunday
-Going to Easter brunch at friends' home shortly
-REALLY enjoying the past two days of warmth and sunshine, especially since they're saying possible snow today (and temps have already dropped into low 30s)
