My workout was Jessica Smith Walk Strong 3, Metabolic Conditioning Day 2. That was a challenge workout, I followed her mom. they used a step, I did not use one. I was soaked in sweat when I was done. looking forward tomorrow workout.

Feeling better today. I had a really bad acid reflex attack last night. It took a lot out of me last night. Throwing up really wears you out. Work was good today. No issues with anything. I pray that I will sleep better tonight. I have been doing lots of praying about my health. Please continue to pray for me that my health will improve faster.

Going to try to get a workout in before I go to bed tonight. I am going to be working on our August challenge information guide soon. Hope everyone is doing well. Blessings to all. Keep pushing play.

Kathryn, Sometimes very hard to give up something we love to eat. I have to watch my sugar I been eating lot of ice cream. I need to stop. You can do it. Baby steps.

I wondering if anybody hard anything about Leslie Walk 15, if new program is good.

Change happens everyday is our daily lives. Fear of the unknown is also a scary thing sometimes. Over the last few weeks I have been very worried about my health. I think I finally realize that the reason why I have been having these health scares is because I'm refusing to change the habits that are triggering the problem. I don't like change because knowing that I have to change will take me out of my comfort zone. I can be very stubborn sometimes. I get that from my mother sadly.

Tonight I had a bad acid reflex attack. It really scared me and I had a panic attack because I was in pain. I'm all better now just very tired. I realize I have to be willing to change or I will continue to have these issues. Starting tomorrow I am putting myself on a high fiber low fat diet. I will be giving up the foods that I have been unwilling to change in my nutrition. Please pray for me because I need them right now. God is good and he will listen to prayers if we believe with all of our hearts that he can do all things that gives us strength.

What does not kill us makes us stronger. Thank you for reading my blog post for this week. I hope everyone is doing well and that God is answering all of your prayers. Remember that God loves you no matter what. Even if you are a stubborn person like me. Many blessings to all. Keep pushing play. No workout for me today. I made today my rest day. I will try to get back to it tomorrow after work.

Cooper is doing well and growing like a little weed. He is very loving. He has LOTS of puppy energy and is still tormenting his big sister Annie. Our little rescue baby. She dies not like him but will try to bully him when he is in his big play pen in the rec room. Watching him is a full time job. Dad and mom are starting to get tired of his high energy. Having a spaniel has been a eye opening experience because we are not used to a breed with high energy.

Annie still looks so sad but we are trying to give her as much love and attention as we can give her. He will get fixed when we come back from vacation in September. We hope after this happens he will calm down some. We all love him very much though. He is a joy to us. So is Annie.

Hello everyone,

I hope everyone is doing well. I'm pretty tired today because I had to get up early with mom so we could go to our yearly eye doctor appointment. My eyes still look kind of big from being dialated this morning. Work was good today. I do need prayers for something very special. I have a possible new job opportunity working as a 3 year old preschool teacher for NASA.

This is a great opportunity for me to get more money and much better work hours. 8:15 AM-5:15 PM Monday through Friday. My interview is scheduled for next Friday at 10:00 AM CDT. Please pray for me that the interview will go well. I will keep you all posted on how the interview went after I have it.

If I get this job and I like it I may quit working for the YMCA. It just all depends on how much I like the job if I get it. The last 2 day cares I worked for were not good and didn't workout. I pray that because it's owned/contracted by NASA it will be good preschool to work at. I hope everyone is doing well. Blessings to all. Keep pushing play.

The Step it up challenge is a walking only challenge. We keep track of our miles all year long. The person who walks the most miles at the end of the year wins the title of the ultimate stepper. I will provide you monthly challenges. All ways and forms of walking count for this challenge. This is a free challenge. Everyone is welcome to join this group.

This challenge group helps keeps all of us accountable to get up and move and push play. The most important part of this challenge is to help you to be motivated as much as possible. I will post/create monthly challenge information guides. Next months challenge is going to be called Get Ready for Vacation Challenge. This challenge will start August 1, 2018. Your total miles for each month is due at the end of each month.

If you have any questions at anytime please let me know. I am happy to help you. There are no worries in this challenge group and you don't have to do anything you don't feel comfortable doing in each months challenge.

Hello everyone,

Today was a good day. My back is kind of bothering me again today. I think I worked out to hard last night. I guess I can't do boosted walking anymore. My health is doing better. My stress level at work is better right now so that is a plus. I forgot to share how many miles I did yesterday. 6.06 total miles. Will try to remember to post my total miles for today before I go to bed.

Hope everyone is doing well. By the way how are we all doing so far with our July challenge? My eating still needs work. But on the plus side I am now at 105.2 pounds. I'm eating less so I guess that is why I'm losing weight so fast. Keep up the great work everyone. Blessings to all. Keep pushing play.

Hello everyone,

Today was a good day. I'm a little tired today because I took a sleeping pill last night to help me sleep. Mom read that Melatonin helps with acid reflex issues. I took it before I went to bed and within 30 min I was tired. I slept very well. But I did not like the way I felt when I woke up this morning. My head felt like it has been in a fog all day today. I won't be taking sleeping pills anymore.

Going to workout tonight before I go to bed. Please continue to pray for me as I am still not 100% yet. I will post my total miles for today before I go to bed. Blessings to all. Keep pushing play.

I joined StepBet 6 weeks ago and ever since that day my steps/miles have increased drastically. My goal is to get 1000 miles this year and right now I need 688.81 to finish my goal this year. I did the math and discovered that to meet that goal I would need to get approximately 4 miles each day. Some days are harder than others but I am up for the challenge especially because if I don't meet my step goals on StepBet than I will lose money!

Hello everyone,

I'm feeling better today. I am back to taking the medication that my doctor tolled me to take last year. I'm still kind of tired. I'm suffering from the same symptoms I had before I knew I had ARD a long time ago. One of the parents told me today while I was checking their children if I was OK because she said I looked tired.

Please continue to pray for me because in September I have to have my dental implant operation again September 4, 2018 at 9:30 AM CDT. This is 3 weeks before we go on our yearly family vacation. Feeling kind of scared about it because last time I got sick from the numbing medication. Thank you all for your prayers. I need them right now. I have had a rough summer this year with health stuff. Over the last few weeks I have not been feeling like myself health wise. I have been feeling stressed out some and drinking to much soda to help me stay awake at work. Because I have taken my health for granted I am now paying the price. My acid reflex issues have comeback almost as bad as it did several years ago before I started working so much.

Now as of today I decided that I really was taking my health for granted. Now I am paying the price for doing so. I did good with my eating today. I stayed in my calorie goal for today. I stayed below my sodium intake today also. No more taking my health for granted just because my job has been driving my crazy.

Let this be a lesson to all. Don't take your health for granted. You will pay a heavy price if you do. I hope everyone is doing well. Please share your thoughts on this weeks blog post here. Blessings to all. Keep pushing play.

Welcome to the group. I think I have figured out what is wrong with me. I have acid reflex issues bad again. I have gone back to treating it again with the same over the counter medication my doctor told me to start taking when I had it super bad. I'm feeling better now since I took a zantac. I guess drinking soda to help me stay awake at work when I used to work lots of double shift has finally caught up with me.

I have been logging in all I have eaten for today. Dad is cooking pasta for dinner tonight. Going to not eat much of it so my reflex stays under control. Going to be giving up the soda starting tomorrow and only going to be drinking water like I used to do before I starting working so much.

I am not doing anymore double shifts at work anymore right now so that will hopefully help also cut down on my stress. Please continue to pray for me that it stays under control and does not get bad like it did a long time ago to where I was having bad chest pain. Keep pushing play.

SP really works when we follow its suggestions. I find the water consumption to be important for results. Many times the challenge is not easy but the reward is well worth the challenge.

Hello everyone,

I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July this year. I didn't workout today. I did eat way to much. I also had to work today. Going to do better tomorrow. My work place served us pizza for lunch today so I ate to much of that as well as dinner with family.

I DVR recorded a Capital 4th and the Macy's 4th of July celebration on tv. I was going to watch both tonight but I have decided to wait until the weekend to watch the recording of them. There is nothing good to watch on TV over the weekend where I live so these shows I recorded tonight will give me something interesting to watch over the weekend.

I herd about that coming to dvd. I have a $50.00 gift card I got from my work. They gave it to me when I won employee of the quarter last year. I have to spend it by the end of the month. I have no idea what I want to spend it on yet.

Great goals Kathryn

So that my knees will feel better and just in general, I really need to get back at.

These are my goals

1 | Workout 5 days (if I do more it's a bonus)

2 | Strength train 2 days, dust off the total gym and use at least 1 day a week, the other day would be hand weights or bands, with or without cardio.

3 | Start eating better

JULY 2018 STEP IT UP CHALLENGE INFORMATION GUIDE:

Hello everyone,

Welcome to the July challenge. This months challenge is called the Game Plan Challenge. With the holiday season coming soon its time to get busy so we not only can look good in our holiday outfits. But also to get as healthy as we can ASAP. So with that being said we need to develop a game plan that we can stick with. Here is our game plan for the month of July 2018. Please let me know if you have any questions.

(1) Set you own workout plan for yourself that you can stick with. Here is an example of what you can try/do. This is my own personal workout game plan for this challenge that I will be following. You are welcome to follow along with what I am doing. I will share with you each week what I will be doing so if you like you can follow along with me.

KATHRYN LEHMAN'S WEEK ONE JULY WORKOUT PLAN: (WEEK ONE GOALS: (1). Workout 5 days a week. (2) Strength train 4 days a week. (3) Yoga 3 days a week.

SUNDAY: 30 min of cardio. And 30 min yoga.

MONDAY: 30-40 min walking workout with strength training

TUESDAY: 30 min cardio + ABS. And 30 min yoga.

WEDNESDAY: REST DAY.

THURSDAY: 30 min cardio + ABS. And 30 min yoga.

FRIDAY: 30-40 min walking workout with strength training.

SATURDAY: REST DAY.

(2) After you create your own workout game plan create your own healthy eating plan. This is the hardest part of this challenge for July. We need to start with small changes to our diet. Here is what I will try to do for myself to eat healthier. You are welcome to follow along with what I am doing if you like. This is going to be the hardest part of the challenge for me so I may mess up. But we are all a work in progress. Here is my healthy eating plan for week one. I will share with you each week what I plan do eat for myself.

KATHRYN LEHMAN'S HEALTHY EATING PLAY WEEK ONE: ( WEEK ONE GOALS: (1) Drink more water and no soda at all. 2. Eat less mac and cheese and not stress eat. (3) Eat more fruit this week.

SUNDAY: Cheat Day.

MONDAY: Breakfast:Peach yogurt with flaxseed, 1 banana.
Lunch: 2 Banana's, 2 snack bars.
Dinner: Soup.

TUESDAY: Breakfast: Peach yogurt with flaxseed, 1 breakfast sandwich.
Lunch: 1 banana, 2 snack bars.
Dinner: Soup.

WEDNESDAY: Cheat Day.

THURSDAY: Breakfast: Yogurt with flaxseed, 1 bananna,
Lunch: 1 bananna, 2 snack bars.
Dinner: Soup.

FRIDAY: Breakfast: Yogurt with flaxseed, 1 breakfast sandwich.
Lunch: 1 banana, 2 snack bars.
Dinner: Mac and cheese.

SATURDAY: Breakfast: Yogurt with flaxseed, 1 breakfast sandwich.
Lunch: 2 bananas, 2 snack bars.
Dinner: Cheat meal.

(3) Drink more water. With it being so hot outside we need to stay hydrated. Here is my game plan for this week on that. Please feel free to follow along with what I am doing.

SUNDAY: 40 oz of water.

MONDAY: 20 oz of water.

TUESDAY: 20 oz of water.

WEDNESDAY: 20 oz of water.

THURSDAY: 20 oz of water.

FRIDAY: 20 oz of water.

SATURDAY: 40 oz of water.

So this is the game plan for our July 2018 challenge. Please keep track of your miles. Remember the person that walks the most miles total at the end of the year wins the title of the ultimate stepper. Lets make July 2018 even better then June 2018 was. Blessings to all. Keep pushing play.

Hello everyone. Your total miles for June 2018 are due by 10:00 PM CDT today. Our July 2018 challenge starts tomorrow. How did everyone do this month? I did pretty good with my eating at the start of the month. Sadly due to job stress I did not do good with my eating the rest of the month.

I plan on doing better in July 2018. I have a good workout game plan. I did lose some weight this month. I am now 108.2 pounds. I am at my target weight now and I don't need to lose anymore weight. What are your goals for the month of July 2018? Please share. Here are my goals for the month of July 2018.

(1) Workout only 5 days a week.

(2) Do more strength training and stretching 3-4 days a week.

(3) Find better and healthier ways to manage my work stress issues.

(4) No more working double shifts at work so my body and get more rest and not stress out so much.

Today was a pretty good day. It is super hot here in Alabama. I did a 30 min walking workout last night. Tonight I plan on doing 30 minuets of yoga. I will post my total miles for today before I go to bed.

This week I was having lots of stress that was work related. The high stress I was having this week was causing me to have high anxiety for some reason. I was so stressed out that I didn't feel like eating much. This caused me to feel sick on my stomach because of my anxiety. I have never had anxiety before. It scared me. It made me realize that I need to start taking much better care of myself then I have been doing.

I realize that I need to find healthier ways to deal with my stress issues. So starting this week I have decided to create a special health plan for myself. I am going to do the following things to help me feel better and healthier. 1. NO MORE WORKING DOUBLE SHIFTS AT WORK.
2. DRINK MORE WATER.
3. GET MORE REST.
4. NOT LET THE STRESS OF MY JOB GET TO ME AS BEST I CAN.

I think if I do these things I will start to feel better. I have lost weight as well. I am now at 108.2 pounds as of yesterday when I last weighed myself. My blood pressure is great which is a great thing. My hormones were also very high this past week so I think that added to my stress and anxiety also. So to make a long story short it's so important to remember that we have to take better care of ourselves. Because if we don't we will be sorry. I hope everyone has a great week this week. Total miles for today is 5.63. I did Leslie’s Burn Body Fat 2 Mile Walk with 2 pound and 1 pound hand weights. Today I felt better. I’m still feeling tired. My brother told me that going low carb can cause you to feel tired until you get used to it. I’m at 108.2 pounds right now. Keep pushing play everyone.
