I am looking for someone to help keep me accountable as I lose a total of 100+ pounds. I'm setting easy to achieve goals of lose 10% of my weight rather than focusing on the larger number because that gets to be overwhelming. I've never done this but was told this is the website to come to so I'm hoping I'm even in the right place.

I'm looking to follow a lower-carb, higher-protein diet. My issues are emotional eating and lack of motivation exercising because of bad knees/ligaments. I know it's crazy but I've always loved to dance - did it all through childhood/high school on teams - so I bought a set of Zumba DVD's hoping that would be a good choice to get me going at first. I'm also looking forward to starting walking at a local park after work as the weather warms up.
