Try something you can do with your hands. Knitting, crafts, mending clothes -- anything to keep your hands busy.
Also, my mum stopped smoking by tricking herself. She gave herself permission to smoke, but not now. "I want a cigarette. I can have one in five minutes, but NOT NOW." Sometimes the amount of time was as short as 'after I get a drink of water' and sometimes it was a lot longer. The idea of not smoking for the rest of her life was too hard to handle, but she did manage 'not now'. She hasn't smoked in decades now.
What you are going to do will be one of the hardest things you've ever had to do. GOOD FOR YOU for doing this. You won't regret it. Take care of yourself.
