Can you take a small first step and make a commitment to log onto SP the same time each day? Jot a list of places you'd visit and do them so that a routine builds into your head.
Something like
-Start page to spin wheel
-Community Feed to read, comment and add my thoughts
-A Spark Team
-Go to videos to do exercise
-Track food
-Track exercise

----
There is no such thing as the final success in life. What is really meaningful is the courage to face the next minute, the next hour, the next day.

Hello and good for you for reaching out!

Have you joined any Spark Teams? Browse them for common interests. Check out your state team to see if it's active and there's members nearby. You don't have to meet them! But knowing that they're there and can talk about local tips is a great way to make friends.

You can also post in the general community chats. There is a link to the community feed below. Use #friendfinder or #buddycheck and #newbie hashtags in your post to find a person or two who you can start to build a buddy check-in relationship with.

check out some spark teams and consider joining some of the challenges to help keep you motivated! also, think about what is motivating YOU to make these changes- write it down somewhere so you can look at it and remind yourself :)

Healthy choices and actions have positive impacts, even if the scale doesn't move!

Welcome to you!! Always keep in mind ... it's progress, not perfection. You mentioned you have issues that make it difficult, so if you mess something up, don't beat yourself up. Just get back on track quickly and move forward.

Progress ... not perfection.

You can do it!! Tons of support available here on Spark!!

howdy back. you can do it, stay focused on the big picture and keep tracking your foods. what helped me is going for zero calorie drinks only, like water and home brewed coffee or tea. be gentle with yourself

For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.

Howdy! This is my first post on Sp and I just wanted to ask for some help on keeping myself motivated.

On top of a slew of mental health issues which really impair my ability to keep myself on track with anything, I feel I have no support around me on my journey to become healthier.

I originally was going to join WW because of the meetings and community but I figured what the heck, and decided I would give SparkPeople a try first.

Long story short, I just want some help keeping myself accountable and motivated to lose the weight that I want to.
