Hey folks! I'm a 31 year old single in Texas, trying to lose weight after two very stressful years of surgeries led to the end of my U.S. Army career. I have a cruise coming up in April, and I've got a plan but I need someone to keep me accountable for going to the gym. I'd be glad to text or call back and forth at designated times to share motivation and just to have someone expecting this of me and vice versa. I'm in MST zone, and I should go to the gym 5:30 am my time.

Oh goodness I would say that we have a lot in common! How exciting that you are going on a trip to Jamaica. October is a good amount of time to make a difference for sure! I find that time management between work, your child, home life, it can all blur together after awhile and be super stressful! Very super tiring to, leaves you with not much energy to get things done, especially working on yourself! Have you in the early stages of losing weight?

I'm a 32 year old single mother and I am in the same boat. I have a trip coming up for Jamaica in October and I don't want to be the huge one in the group and also my 6 year son needs a playmate and be being too tired or too big to do half of the things that he wants to do is really stressing me out. I'm really trying to balance everything but it seems that I basically get the basics done - mom, work, cook and sleep. and repeat the cycle. In my head I tell myself you are going to get up at 5am and exercise and i admit that i haven't done it yet.

Hi all! I am a 27 year old single mother who is looking for someone to help me lose the weight! I am new to the site, and looking for someone else in the same position where you are trying to lose weight again, and you want this to be the LAST time you "start again". I have been heavier all of my life, and I am to the point now, where enough it enough and I need to change. I work a full time job, then take care of my daughter so some days I feel so exhausted, I need to have someone to keep me on my toes!

I am not doing any certain diet, I would just like to retrain my brain on how to eat correct portion sizes, the correct foods, and not abuse food by using it as a reward. Bad day, good day, stressful day, wonderful celebration day, that is when I would turn to food and I do not want to live this way any more. I also want to be a good role model for my 3 year old who is already a picky eater as is and not let her go down the same path I did.

It would be nice to be able to email or possibly text one another daily for support. If you can relate to anything that I said, please reply back or email me on here and we can talk to see if we'd be a good fit! emoticon
