Meditation is great for so many reasons - relaxation, stress relief, focus, mind/body connection, etc.

So is visualization. I like combining them, doing some visualization both before and after a short meditation.

If anybody wants a great little site for mindfulness meditations, these are free online from UCLA (in English and Spanish) and I like them a lot. Different lengths and different types of meditations, as short as 3 minutes, no longer than 19 minutes:

it's really hard to not overly focus on the number (I am in a bit of a plateau right now). maybe also visualize how you'll FEEL and what other things you'll be able to do (for me, I want to get back into dancing and try some watersports).

Healthy choices and actions have positive impacts, even if the scale doesn't move!

Re-start: 1/2/18, -10 met 1/30, - 20 met 3/27, -25 met 4/18, -30 met 7/4
Next goal: -35 by 7/31

Wish you keep it up this year! Visualization is a very effective tool unfortunately underestimated by many people. It helped me a lot when I decided to change my career and now it's helping me to lose weight!

I've been working really hard at visualizing my stronger thinner self...having 20 to 30 lbs to go sometimes i get caught up IN that NUMBER on the scale....
I got me some great visualizations from jon Gabriel. ...cheers to 2018! The year of THIN AND HEALTHY FOREVER.
