With so little movement on the scale, the fact you are showing this dedication is encouragement for many others (and myself having hit plats before included.)

Typically the calorie use/burn ratio is simply not high enough or there is some macro-nutrient combination change that needs to take place.

Only problem is finding the dietary combination that your body will excel with. For most of us there is some fine tuning that always has to be done in that respect. Clean eating alone is simply making me stronger lately. At some point I'm either going to have to get more active or mess with my daily intake (read larger breakfast smaller lunch perhaps) to force my body to change in an expected manner.

You've helped me today to get out of my posting shell and thank you for your commitment. While the slow loss is hard to deal with, it is progress. I'd look into tracking methods to ensure something isn't possibly miscalculated or underestimated as well. I was surprised what a measure cup does to some portions as an example. (+75 calories here and there adds up.)

I do not know your exercise plan, but make sure you are getting your heart rate up while exercising and don't stick to the same plan. Keep it changing. Make sure you are doing strength training as well as the cardio too.

Will it be easy, NO, but it will be worth it!

My normal body temp runs a little higher then the 98.6, it always has. I tend to sweat a lot and with temps in the 90s and exercising I have a fear of dehydrating so therefore I drink water. My urine is a pale yellow. I have talked to my dr about the amount of water I drink so for that part I'm ok. Dr approved lol. But my weight is 142-144 area and I'm 5'1 my BMI is high and says for my height and age I should be in the 120s, I can't remember exact number (although, 130 area is fine for me lol)

If your exercise is new to you (or at least, exercising that much), it could be that your body is adjusting to this new regimen.. either by retaining water, or being inflamed, etc. There is this strange "phenomenon" many people on here experience where all of a sudden, their pants are loose and the scale drops a few pounds. It's not like you "really" drop a few pounds overnight, but it might feel like it.

If you are a female, you may be having issues with hormones/monthly cycle.. I know I can be bloated and my measurements certain times of the month might be "bigger" than they usually are. Heck, I have been gassy before going to bed, taken an anti-gas pill, and found my waist measurement was 2" smaller the next day, LOL.

There could be some potentially off things, for example my FitBit syncs with SparkPeople and gives me WAY too many calories .. also, it's possible that being really active those 3 days of the week may cause you to be less active during the day because you are tired, meaning overall you aren't increasing your calorie burn as much as you think. Furthermore, if you only have 13 pounds to lose, it could be that you are small to start, so the weight won't melt off because it's harder to have a big calorie deficit. But chances are, you could be doing everything right.. just give it some time.

"I drink water, although not as much as I should but I drink about 5 16 oz bottles a day."
That is a lot of water! (this site recommended 64 ounces of fluids)
Why do you think that is not enough?

Is your urine clear? IF so, you are drinking too much.

Yes I believe I am. I stay within my range. I vary on intake depending on the day. I never go under or over my limit. Well, I try to never go over but there are a few times I have but only by the most 35 to 40 calories. There are times that it seems like that is all I am doing is eating. I drink water, although not as much as I should but I drink about 5 16 oz bottles a day.

Are you eating enough? Try going to your upper calorie range for awhile. Change things up.

Hello everyone. I am discouraged. I have been tracking what I eat and exercising regularly. I cardio for one hr 3 days a week and strength train 3 days. I have measured myself and weighed myself before I started 4 days shy of a month ago and I have lost no inches and only lost 1 pound. What gives? I don't know what to do. I'm not giving up but just...ugh and sigh. I know from the last time I tried to lose it came off slow but geesh not this slow. I'm sorry about the ranting just grumpy and feeling confused.
