@TERRIS68 I know this vicious cycle very well! It's going to be okay. We've been eating like this for a long time, so it will take a a while to make good habits. Self control takes consistency and practice. I'm still tryin, myself. But tomorrow is a fresh new day, so start out the best way you can! A snack I've been using when I crave peanut butter is to cut up an apple, warm up 1tbs of peanut butter in the microwave, then drizzle it over the apple slices. The pb goes further, and most the time it keeps me from bingeing on pb. :)
Lunch was at noon. By 4:30 I felt hungry. I ate some figs. While eating the figs I saw tortilla chips. Nearby was peanut butter. Like a robot I spooned the p.b. onto the chips. Ate about 10. When I went to get water from the refrig I saw the cake. I ate 2 small pieces - with what else, my hands. Now, as usual, I hate myself. I don't stand by my own side.
nope. I add a chia seed smoothie to my dinner every night, and it keeps me full. I soak the seeds overnight in my favorite tea... Rooibos or green. Then blend it. Between the seeds and tea, and a well rounded dinner, I'm set. Then more water or a decaf hot tea to end the night. Once I've done this for a whole month, I'm posting my results. If you wanna know how it goes, friend me.
