You can also look into "cheat days" and "cheat meals". Myself, I'll have one once a week, especially when it's a day with socializing and eating out. (If you don't need to cheat, don't, since it takes a few days to get back to your pre-cheat weight.)

I've also noticed that it's easier to pass on this sort of food now that I'm cooking at home and reducing my salt and sugar intake. Keeping satiated with foods allowed on your diet also helps, of course.

I love Panera Bread's "Cobble Stone Muffin"!!!!!!! They are definitely not the best thing on the planet, but once in a blue moon, you need something like that!!! LOL!!!

Good for you choosing the omelette!!

Enjoy your day!!

At the law firm where I work, every Friday is Breakfast Friday. On each floor, two employees (voluntarily) bring in something for breakfast and usually it's donuts or some other pastry and bagels and/or fruit and yogurt. Today, there were donuts, scones, bagels and my favorite Panera's coffee cake. I opted for an egg white omelette with cheese, onions and mushrooms and a cup of fresh strawberries. This was a major change for me, because I LOVE that coffee cake..lol!

Ok, I work for an accounting firm and it's our busy season. Every Friday we have "Fun Friday" and it's always something to eat or drink, so today if you are in the Boston area you have heard of "The Cookie Monstah"!! We had them here in the office from 2-3 pm, as soon as he got here I got up and went for a walk came back 20-30 minutes later, looking at the clock I see there is only about 20-25 minutes left before he leaves, I excited because I'm sticking to my plan of not having any sugar, chocolate. So I sit just outside of the kitchen and I hear him leave, oh thank god I say to myself!!!! So I go back out there and what does he leave 2 huge platters full of cookies!!!!!!! OMG!!!

Just in case you were wondering if I had one, no I did not!! And that is my story for for the last "Fun Friday" for now.
