Neuropathy hands and feet along with carpal tunnel in both hands and one elbow plus a trigger finger. Now try to exercise with this mess as any pressure causes numbness. Itโ€™s not impossible but very difficult. Currently using a recumbent bike , if I donโ€™t hold on I try not to fall off ....lol

I'm 69 and I fell last year and broke my femur just below my hip joint last, so I have a rod and screws in my leg. I'm still dealing with it. I found an endocrinologist who put me on Metformin which lowered by blood sugar from 115 to 100 and I stopped night cravings. I released 36# and have kept it off for over a year. I plan to release another 20#. I take Armour Thyroid, a weekly shot of Bydureon, Baclofen (a muscle relaxant that helps me sleep), Progesterone, blood pressure medicine (my doctor says it will help my kidneys) and Vitamin K.
My doctor tells me "You don't want diabetes as it ruins everything." I keep reading that T2D is connected to Alzheimer's so I don't want that. Plus exercise is vital to keeping healthy, as Jack LaLanne taught us. He said "Don't lose the legs, because once they are gone, you're gone."

53 yo mom - connective tissues disease which flares periodically, arthritis and disc disease particularily neck, migraines, ocipital neuralgia, thyroid disease, shoulder bursitis and teen-agers. The last on the list gives me the most pain = :)

56 living in Florida with Chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia. Eating better and tracking nutrition helps a bit. Unfortunately, dealing with pain and fatigue makes normal daily functions rough. Hopefully, the nutrition will transition into more energy and less pain. Keep the faith folks.
