I am a Holistic Health Coach and I can direct you to a few books that would be a great help. Keto Clarity by Jimmy Moore, and The Obesity Code by Dr Jason Fung and Jimmy Moore. There are plenty of podcasts like 2 Keto Dudes (Carl Franklin and Richard Moris) and Keto for Women (Shawn Mynar). All people I know and greatly admire!! I just went through an eight week trial on the keto diet. There are plenty of websites that educate and support keto dieters. I did not find the diet difficult, I enjoyed trying a lot of the great recipes and managed to stay in ketosis most of the time. I did loose a few pounds the first couple of weeks, just maintained the next few, then started to gain. The problem I experienced was keeping a calorie deficit. It was very difficult to eat the amount of fat required to reach ketosis and stay within the calorie ranged needed to loose weight. I have stopped trying to stay in ketosis and am adding more carbs back into my diet. One big benefit of being on the keto diet is that I no longer crave sugar and junk food. I think my diet will be much healthier now with healthy fats and protein and healthy carbs. Good luck to you.

No, because this website does not advocate keto.
SparkPeople is about moderation, not deprivation, and no food is a bad food.
You can find people who eat that way, and you can find teams for support.
But you are not going to see step-by-step instructions for something the staff does not believe in...

I am 63 years old and trying to do do the Keto diet. I'm lost! Are there step by step directions anywhere on Spark People? My mind isn't as sharp as it used to be, so I HAVE to have step by step written directions to follow. This really means a lot to me!!! I want to extend my life in the most positive ways! Please help me! I weigh 188.8 #'s, at 5' and 63 years old, I absolutely KNOW this is the best route for me to take. I take directions well and I will absolutely do everything I need to. Can someone please help this old woman out? Thank you in advance! {{{HUGS}}}
