I just went through an eight week trial on the keto diet. There are plenty of websites that educate and support keto dieters. I did not find the diet difficult, I enjoyed trying a lot of the great recipes and managed to stay in ketosis most of the time. I did loose a few pounds the first couple of weeks, just maintained the next few, then started to gain. The problem I experienced was keeping a calorie deficit. It was very difficult to eat the amount of fat required to reach ketosis and stay within the calorie ranged needed to loose weight. I have stopped trying to stay in ketosis and am adding more carbs back into my diet. One big benefit of being on the keto diet is that I no longer crave sugar and junk food. I think my diet will be much healthier now with healthy fats and protein and healthy carbs. Good luck to you.
