How is it going? I am feeling great. I have had knee pain for 2 years. Had surgery on it last year but it didn't help. After starting this, it's almost nonexistent! I am shocked! I noticed it the 3rd day but thought there's no way. After exercising it doesn't even hurt. It has to be the Contrave. It's a double wammy. I can run and my appetite is controlled. We are having abnormally nice weather. The dog and I did a big run/walk yesterday - 7 miles. I am sore in weird places because I have been favoring my hurt knee. My body isn't used to running correctly. I woke up this morning and couldn't believe the scale. I'm going to wait and check tomorrow before I say how much. Did 5 miles today. It's been ages since I could do this and not regret it the next day.
I sent you a sparkmail if you want to chat outside of this board. :-)

Oh no, nothing like that. Severe chest pain, shortness of breath etc. Ruled out blood clots, had many tests done and finally ruled out heart attack. At this point, the consensus is esophageal spasms. Two Dr. appointments next week........ :(

One of the Drs I saw while in hospital is a fan of Contrave. She has had several patients with success using it, and her husband has lost .... I think....60 pounds using it . So she is a fan. That helped my feelings about it. I'm going to start back next week after my follow-up appointment.

Oh, that's not fun when you are trying to figure out how and if Contrave is working. You weren't hospitalized because of it - were you?

Hi, I'm so glad to finally hear from someone. My experience has been messed up actually because on day 8 I was hospitalized for 3 days and did not take it. I had several new medications prescribed at that point and so I have not started back taking it , as I still feel pretty "weird" from some of the new meds to start with.

I'm going to start back next week. I can definitely tell the difference without it, although I was only taking one pill per day. It had definitely helped with my carb cravings.

I am new here. I am also new to Contrave. I found one discussion board on this topic, but apparently it is completely inactive. I would really like to start a new group made up of Contrave users so that we can support and advise each other .... who's in????
