I agree - getting older (66) happened so much faster than I could have imagined! BUT its so wonderful to have the time / freedom to focus on myself. Kids grown, no more upset clients (I was a DUI counselor for decades), and not much of a schedule.

Retired and happy in IL - now its time to re-focus!

For everything there is a season.......

I'm 62. When I get asked my age (like, at a doctor's office)-- I'm always surprised I'm that old. Seems like one minute I was in my 30's, and now here we are! My dad died at 59, so I've outlived him. I'm grateful to have made it this far, and hopefully a healthy lifestyle will help me see many more years to come.

Best thing about being older-- wisdom really does come with age.

Welcome!

I'd have to back up twenty years to hit fifty again. Welcome to the group!

My birth certificate says I'll be 64 in December.
I feel like I'm 20-something. Lucky me.

I feel glad I'm still here and sharing with my loved ones.

Keep pushing everyone, KEEP PUSHING!

I realized that most of the things I worried about when I was younger were pretty stupid and unimportant!

the older you get the better life is if you saved for it and go with it and don't fight the change

You should be thrilled to hit 50, because that means you are still alive.
Fifty is fabulous... the 60s are even better.

I'm turning 50 on Friday. So starting Friday I get to be a part of this goup. I got my AARP mail. Lawd have mercy where did the time go?

Ah well, I'll be Fabulously 50 because 2018 is going to be the year about me! I just hope my adult offspring cooperate!

The name is Barb, by the way and I'm very pleased to meet all of you and continue this journey together.

One day at a time.

Peace!
Barb
