There are different types of CBD oil, one made from hemp and the other from marijuana. The one derived from hemp is available anywhere, some people swear by it and others say it did nothing. It seems to be very individualized. The one from marijuana is stronger and I have used that one but haven't really noticed a difference in my MS pain however, I can tell you that it does NOT make you high at all. There are also different delivery methods, topical cream, oil to be taken orally or even vape vials. My medical marijuana doctor said that vaping gives you the strongest dose and has seen the most success with that method.

I say go for it, you won't get high and you might feel relief!

One of the few things I can control is what goes into my mouth and how much/often I move my body. I like being in control!

I'm also an RN and this summer I had bunion surgery on my right foot (so no driving for quite a long time!!). At the recommendation of a friend who does acupuncture, I purchased CBD lotion to assist the scar formation (a wound re-models for several months after the initial trauma). Once the stitches are out, next week, I will be using the lotion on and around the surgical scar. The literature supports topical CBD for pain relief and minimal scarring.

In the meantime, I'm using it on other older scars with some positive effects, even on scars that are over 5 years old. So far, so good!

My brother uses it. I guess there are strains of it that are grown for specific pain. He used to really suffer but doesn't seem to anywhere near as much as he did.

I use it for my dog, he has bone cancer and it has really helped him. He was given 3-6 months to live that was 4 months ago. His tumour is shrinking and seems to be in less pain. He barely limps and when I took him to vet he couldn't put any weight on his the leg. So noticeable improvement.

I have used marijuana crème for pain in my arm and my back, and found it very effective. As it is still not legal here I got it from a friend who has medical approval
to use it and makes his own cream. There were no side effects. I was also reluctant to try it. Even though I grew up during the "Hippie Generation" I never used any type of illegal drugs, and I am also a retired R.N. I used it because I could get no relief from the arm pain with the regular over the counter pain meds.
Give it a try, it cannot hurt. If you are seeing a physician for health problems I would let him know that you are trying it. I personally am on other meds, and it was not a problem. However I do not know whether it can interact with other medication you are on.

My mother has severe arthritis pain in her hands and I plan on purchasing CBD cream to alleviate her pain. My family doctor recommended it and I am hoping that it will finally give her the relief that she has been hoping for. I use CBD in vape form to help me with sleep issues and it has helped me tremendously.

Good luck!

I live in a state where marijuana is legal and several people have told me that they use marijuana cream for pain. They do not get high, they look for something with a CBD count and low THC count. I am a bit afraid to try it, but I do have arthritis in my feet that can be quite painful. Does anyone have experience with this that they are willing to share? Thank you.

I can do it!!
