I have done the treatments. I did lose inches, my tech said I was a good candidate because I work out consistently. I was a guinea pig so only a minimal cost. But results don't really last. And can become expensive.

Yes, I have been currently going through coolsculpting procedure. I went for my second treatment this week and when they measured my belly, I had lost one 2 inches!!! And this is an amazing result. They say that the fat will continue to go away for up to 3-4 months. I'll keep you posted on the second treatment results very soon. If you're looking for good info on this procedure, check this site www.beautyfixmedspa.com/ . They describe the procedure as it actually is.

Know someone who did it before her daughters wedding
It worked
In fact when she went for a physical her lipids/fat was off the charts in her urine! Her body was flushing it out.
When she went back the flush was done and her urine #s were normal again.
It was pricey (NJ) but far less than whats being charged in my state (city)
Haven't done it but might consider it after I hit some big goals in order to also smooth out the skin etc.

Yes, it's true that coolsculpting is not for weight loss from all the literature. But, then, that's not why I was considering it. Having now lost 59 pounds, I'm quite aware there's no shortcut for that :)! Thanks for the responses; keep 'em comin'!

These comments have been very interesting to read! They all agree, there are no magical shortcuts to losing weight, overtime, it’s the habits that get us where we need to be!

My daughter who is over 50 tried Coolsculpting. I didn't see much results from her sessions. She didn't change her eating either. Apparently she wasn't happy with the results. She ended up spending a lot of money ($20,000+) for a Tummy tuck, Liposuction and Breast Augmentation. At the end of the day..she still has to eat sensibly and change her eating habits after spending all that money.
I wish you the best with your decisions. emoticon

I have not tried it, but know people who have.
Their experiences were initially favorable. They were excited to see inches come off, even though it is very expensive.
But then, because they did not change their habits, other areas of their body increased in size. Those extra calories gotta go somewhere!
Now they wish they did not go broke, as they do not have the body they wanted.

Has anyone tried coolsculpting? How was your experience? Was it effective? Expensive? Worth it?
