I have a 24 oz glass, and a 24 oz refillable bottle I use when exercising. Somehow drinking 3 of these works better for me than drinking 8 oz or varying sizes. Easier to keep track of also. I drink 1 glass before noon and one before 5 and drink one during my workout. If I don't workout I drink the other glass before 8 pm.

I try to keep water in a covered cup that stays cold all day. I make myself sip water every hour. I also try to drink other beverages throughout the day

Flavored peach water with stevia, regular bottled water & flavored sparkling water in 2 cup size bottles, it also comes in pop cans. The bottles are a better flavor. It is hot here for me in the summer at 74 F or more I sweat all day, I drink plenty of water. 1 bottle of Sparkling water with 0 calories I drink each day fills me up a lot between meals. Our tap water has a lot of metals in it. I will not drink it, it has sand and looks O.K. but makes me feel sick, it has high arsenic among other things. Bottled water here on sale is $3.00 for a case of 24- 16 oz. bottles.

I have pleurisy, 3 types of anemia from Iron, folic acid, other vitamins not working, chronic pneumonia, chronic kidney disease and low blood pressure & blood clots in both lungs for 3 years..I am 55 years old. I had 6 operations recently. I had cervical cancer 6 years ago, no signs last 3 years as well.

8 oz per hour. I'm good after the first 8 hours, but I do drink more after that. That's the only way I get a lot of water during the day. It works for now.

We have very good tap water where I live.

I kicked the Diet Coke habit a year and a half ago and miss the stuff like crazy. I find drinking water doesn't do it for me. What helps is that I put two herbal tea bags in a 1.5 liter bottle and fill it with tap water. After about an hour in the fridge it's cold and more palatable to me than just plain water.

I still miss that Diet Coke... emoticon

I try to drink a bottle of water when I get up, 1 on my way to work, then another mid morning, and at lunch 2 pm, then another before I leave at 5 and one on my way home. Those are my main focus areas, some days I drink more other times it's less. Try drinking flavored uncarbonated water, or put fruit in it.

I didn't have to look far to find many, many articles from different sources that suggest the guy might be a charlatan, so I'd take his advice with a grain of salt:

I don't drink our tap water since it has Fluoride added (Dr. Mercola says it is a poison that has never prevented cavities and staya in our bodies forever.) I buy Zephyrhills brand as I like it. I mix 1/2 cup O.J. with 3 1/2 cups water and have a quart of drink. Only 55 calories. I also use NuNatural Brand Stevia that I get at the Health Food Store as it has no nasty aftertaste and I use 1/3 packet in a quart of water with lemon juice and make lemonade. It says to use 1 packet per 8 oz. but that is so unnecessary.

After some reading, it would seem that filtered tap water is the way to go if you have concerns about cost, taste, and safety.

We have great municipal water as well. Minimal chlorine and fluoride (required, I think), but it comes from a mountain reservoir and the town publishes a water quality report annually which is always top shelf. There are a lot of relatively sane old farts hereabouts, so I'm guessing it's pretty safe to drink. I'm told it meets higher standards than much of the bottled water on the market. Certainly not Flint, Michigan.

I"m very lucky that my well water is sweet and clean. I LOVE drinking it. In town, with the chemicals, not so much. In fact, not at all. I'll buy before I drink!

How about you?
